The opening is a frenzy of feminine power. Very sexy and nocturnal. The floral notes are noticeable, but it’s not a familiar flower, so it doesn’t smell like anything I know. The tonka and osmanthus give it that elixir touch, nocturnal and ‘dirty’. I don’t detect the violets. I wouldn’t call it gourmand; it reminds me of Hypnotic, although that one seemed very distinguished to me, whereas this Gucci feels more ‘youthful’.
I don’t like the opening; it smells dirty, but after half an hour that sensation disappears and it becomes sensual. I admit that although it’s addictive, it doesn’t fully convince me. I think it’s that kind of scent where you either love it or hate it; not for everyone.
Reminds me of Adam’s violet chewing gum tablets. As it evolves, it remains purely sweet, vanilla with patchouli. I would have liked the opening to last longer. Still, I’m considering buying it.
Intense and sweet… ‘Feminine’ due to the rose, but I prefer a man over 40 to wear it for special occasions. It reminds me of Honor & Glory by Bade’e Al Oud (perhaps due to the fruits with vanilla and tonka). It lasts incredibly long on skin, over six hours. The wisteria smells like cream, sweet-bitter sugar, citrus with sparks, and that patchouli that suddenly rises… Ugh. A man could certainly wear it. It doesn’t resemble the original, which is fresher and lighter, nor the Intense, which is very distinguished; this one is more my style. You can own all of them; they are distinct.
Gucci Guilty Elixir is a delightful sweet and vanilla scent with a provocative trail. It has great depth and smells attractive. I don’t see it as floral, but rather heavy, like Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, with a marked tonka bean. Truly delectable, opulent, nocturnal and suggestive, it enhances attractiveness. It doesn’t resemble others, though it shares that niche creaminess; I can’t recall which one. Nothing like the original Guilty, which is aromatic and talc-like; this Elixir smells oily, heavier, and isn’t for daily or office wear. Who will like it: subconsciously, everyone.
Smells great at first, but then turns into a grape bubblegum scent with a slightly dirty edge.
I tried it in-store and didn’t like it at first sniff, nor now after some time, haha. I don’t know where to place it: neither floral nor sweet, it confuses me. My boyfriend gave it a 6.8; he hasn’t disliked it either.
Pungent at first, improves as it dries, but smells like grape tablet and slightly dirty…
Pure power in every drop, no nonsense. Only for brave noses; I’ve used it a lot and it’s finally worn me out. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. It smells so much of spices that if you overdo it, you’ll end up looking grumpy. It lasts a long time and projects well; the dry-down is delightful because it recedes and stops being annoying, plus it lingers on clothes for hours.
Powerful concentrate, straight to the point. Only for the brave, as it gets tiring if worn heavily. Not my favourite, but it doesn’t disgust me. So spicy that if you overdo it, it becomes irritating. It lasts a long time, projects well, and dries down beautifully, becoming less bothersome. It lingers on clothes for hours.
