A summer scent for hot days when the skin craves something soft yet radiant: a serene floral with musk. The iris and orchid are noticeable from the off, while the citrus notes barely register on my skin. In the dry-down, the heliotrope leaves a powdery trail reminiscent of fine old soaps. It doesn’t evolve much; it’s simple, yet works perfectly as a gift: wearable, unobtrusive, and offering an almost romantic sense of calm. The longevity is short; more of a Toilette than an Eau de Parfum, it lingers close to the skin for about five hours. It can be worn all day if reapplied, ideal for daily use, though something more intense is better for evening. I bought it to try, and I liked it, but it’s as linear as a straight, boring road where, no matter which way you look, the scenery remains equally monotonous.
