Today I finally tried this fragrance, and for the autumnal winter here, it has truly won me over. On my skin, I think I could wear it all year round. It opens very strongly and stays that way for a while, then after about half an hour it becomes more floral, almost to the point where I lose sight of it. But after an hour and a half… it was gorgeous! Rich, floral, earthy, and feminine. The best part is that it doesn’t smell like soap at all, at least on me. I’m happy with it and give it a 9.

  2. Iris 39 is a deconstructed and masked chypre, very far from the classic. It revolves around an iris adorned with ionones that attempts to be a bouquet of roses, but instead produces an impressionist painting of lilac flowers, full of personality and character. It feels deep, diffuse, and slightly stained by the civet leather. The musk ensures the dry-down fits perfectly, blending softly into the skin. It is a modern, almost conceptual version of a dirty iris with a smoky base, more feminine. It is original, well-made, and different. Rating: 7.5.
