About AL HAMRA
AL HAMRA, Yosha Soul's Gentle Musky Floral
AL HAMRA arrived in 2026 from Yosha Soul as a fragrance for women and men within the musky floral woody family. The composition is by perfumer Lucas Sieuzac.
It feels luminous and tender from the outset, weaving together fresh fruit, soft blossoms and a mellow, comforting base.
At the top, artemisia, pear and osmanthus meet. Artemisia lends a green, herbal edge, pear offers crisp juiciness, whilst osmanthus contributes an apricot-honeyed bloom that smooths the opening.
The heart brings lily of the valley, violet and mimosa together. Lily of the valley provides a clear white glow, violet emphasises the powdery texture, and mimosa supplies a cosy, golden sweetness.
The base settles on musk, creamy notes and sandalwood. This is the hallmark of the fragrance: a smooth, pillowy trail in which sandalwood softens rather than dries.
Throughout, floral, fruity and fresh accords are tempered by gentle sweetness and understated woods. The development favours seamless blends over sharp contrasts.
Thanks to its radiant restraint, it is well suited to daytime and the office, and to spring and autumn in particular, when powdery florals breathe beautifully on skin and lighter clothing.
It will appeal to those who favour tender, powdery unisex fragrances with white and yellow florals, a whisper of fruit and a creamy musk foundation for everyday wear.
AL HAMRA offers a serene reading of the musky floral woody genre: refined, luminous and effortlessly wearable, leaving a sense of soft, well-kept skin.
