Exquisite. A soft May rose, nothing brash, which is the star. It has a creamy touch with subtle, delicious amber and vanilla, just as Chanel knows how to do. Few notes, but they remind me of others that appear and disappear as it dries down (I detect sandalwood and patchouli; I can’t believe it’s just three ingredients). I’m unsure whether this is the EDT or EDP, but it seems more discreet and less bright than the latter. An olfactory delight with excellent longevity on the skin and classic, timeless appeal that avoids the fatigue of fleeting trends. A real charm? Undisputed. My bottle is a 35 ml tester of the first version. Reference 012 153/ EMB 60159, if that helps.

Last night I removed the seal and, when pulling the cap upwards, there is a little string that needs cutting, yet even without removing it, I noticed it stained my hands slightly. So, with that detail aside, the scent remains quite potent. It declares tangerine, rose, and vanilla. Initially, the first two notes are accurate and, in my view, very good, but the dry-down resembles that of the EDT, which I consider a fine fragrance, unlike the EDP which, on my skin, has an overly chemical and heavy tone, likely due to the peach. The conclusion is that it is undoubtedly very good, but the price of 10 euros per millilitre is absolute madness for people to hesitate over, though I obviously expected this.
