Caught getting compliments! It has incredible projection and longevity; it won’t go unnoticed. Rose and amber dominate as the name suggests. Ideal for cold nights or outings; it will surely make you stand out from the crowd. Sweet but without crossing the line. For me, it’s a 10 out of 10.
What a delight! Perfect for winter, aromatic, intense, and with that amber touch. I love the jasmine; it’s the note I like most; it reminds me of Molinard’s Jasmin, but this Mancera version is more wearable. It’s not subtle or soft, nor too invasive; it’s very well balanced to my taste. 10 out of 10!
Terrible performance; it doesn’t last at all and its trail is very poor, yet it’s a super sexy scent. With those specs, I stopped using it in winter; I want to see if it surprises me in the heat.
This is the only Mancera I own. The rose blends with something bitter that isn’t the Sicilian lemon the brand claims; that rose is what stands out most on my skin. I would have liked it to be sweeter and more ambered, but it isn’t. It has good projection and longevity; I always smell it. It’s not my favourite because it smells very artificial, but I’ll keep wearing it in winter.
First time: 26 January 2024. Opens with a strong, frightening, and disconcerting smell of damp black earth, camphorated and tarred. Over time, a boozy rose emerges, but the dry-down remains heavy. I’ll update later as my nose adapts.
It’s pink with wet earth in the hand. Same. After five consecutive uses, the musk and a hint of make-up become noticeable. I don’t find it sexy, killer, or potent. If I had tried it first, I wouldn’t have bought it.
