It’s a very feminine, clean fragrance, with a soft to moderate sillage that is supremely pleasant to the nose. I’ve received compliments about it on several occasions and I would without a doubt buy it again.
If you like jasmine, Amor is something I would recommend trying. Pure jasmine, with an exquisite touch of freesia in the final dry-down. Excellent longevity; you can sense it as the hours pass, and in its dry-down I find it increasingly delicate. It’s an enveloping floral because of its amber orientation. I had it a couple of years ago and I remember days wearing that fragrance on my skin as if I were carrying a little bunch of jasmine, the sort that perfumes the walls of houses on spring afternoons.💮

Paula Amor, the brand’s second launch. I remember that I came across it thanks to a sample they gave me at the perfumery. I kept it and treasured it because I was a university student at the time and still couldn’t buy myself as many perfumes as I would have liked to try. It’s a very floral fragrance in which the jasmine stands out, a jasmine that is somewhat sweet but fresh in its finish. With green touches at times that make that aroma a friendly experience. I should point this out because jasmine can sometimes be sharp, but for me this is not the case. I like it for the office, a casual outing, or at night as well. You won’t look bad, and as it’s not a mass-market perfume these days, people will be left wondering what perfume it is; besides, to my nose it’s something of a distant relative of Gucci Bloom. I love Paula Cahen D’anvers’ perfumes, because so far they have remained true to her style: no duuuullce dessert-like perfume trying to fall into what’s in fashion, except the last one, “Aura”, which I haven’t tried yet but I’ve heard it resembles Scandal JPG😣. And it may be that after the brand was sold, the line and quality change 🤷🏻♀️
