  Seems to be the first review, so I’ll get straight to the point without the jargon. It’s sweet but not overpowering; the opening is sweet and fresh, then the woods and alcohol settle in. It has an earthy note, but it’s not unpleasant, it suits it perfectly. In short, it smells like eating something hot and sweet at Christmas, next to a real pine tree. I don’t see much development and I’d like the sugar to be less potent so the oud can come through more; it’s more comforting that way, though it might be excessively sweet for some. Projection is average and it lasts about five hours on the skin. When I wear it to sleep, I smell nothing when I wake up, just the pillow. As I sleep for seven hours, this info should help. It’s not the most unique on the market, but I’m glad it’s accessible; here in the USA you can find it at Sephora and the price is reasonable.

  It’s a 100% masculine fragrance. I don’t understand why it’s labelled unisex; we can all wear what we like, but it’s important to know what it actually smells like. The dry-down is pure cedar with a slightly cloying sweetness. I thought, being from Ellis Brooklyn, it wouldn’t last long, so I didn’t mind spending the whole day smelling like a lumberjack drinking whisky in his pine cabin, but it turns out it’s the longest-lasting of the four I’ve tried (seven hours). Just bad luck.
