What a great surprise this fragrance. I’m not a fan of Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria, but what a joy to wear it today. First, you note the fresh bergamot, and then, as it dries, the vanilla appears, very warm and comforting.
What a lovely surprise; I tried a sample and took it home immediately. It’s a salty, vibrant, warm vanilla that evokes summer, the kind of perfume that makes you happy. I wear it when I don’t know what to put on and it never fails. It’s deceptive: it seems to fade but it doesn’t; I spray it on at night and I can still smell it the next day. I also wear it with Blue Turquoise, but I think Bosca Vanilla is more delicate and subtle; the Armani one has a potent finish that doesn’t suit everyone. For me, it’s a staple, it could be my signature. Recommended to try it. Edit: Over a year later, it’s still my signature and I have my second bottle shivering; I’m going to buy the 200ml refill to top it up.

It’s a salty vanilla very much in the style of Juliette has a gun’s Vainilla Vibes or Armani’s Bleu Turquoise, but here it’s much softer and sweeter. If you like those two, this Guerlain vanilla is a buy blind. If you picked up Divine by JPG, you’ll love it, although Gaultier’s is even sweeter.
I can’t stand it; it makes me gag and even gives me a headache. I don’t know what’s going on, it smells awful and terrible, even though I adore vanilla. And the worst part is it lasts forever; I’ve washed my wrist four times and it’s still projecting like crazy.
I can’t, it repulses me, it gives me nausea. I don’t know what’s happening with me regarding this perfume but it doesn’t smell good to me, it seems terrible, and that despite me loving vanilla. I can’t, I can’t. It even makes me dizzy. And the longevity is impressive; I’ve washed my wrist four times and there it is, still projecting.
The longevity is very good; I’m not sure about the projection, but I can constantly smell it after six hours and it remains quite perceptible. Unfortunately, like other vanilla-based perfumes, they have a terrible chemistry on my skin and reveal themselves as egg white. It really is that, mixed with vanilla. It is repulsive to me. I do not recommend buying blindly.
The longevity is top-notch; I’ve worn it for six hours and it’s still detectable, though I’m not sure how much it projects. The downside is that, as with many vanilla scents, it reacts terribly on my skin and smells like raw egg. It’s literally vanilla with that note, which is disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind.
The best simple vanilla that exists, with a fresh touch. It is elegant and feminine. It is perfect.
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Forte Bosca Vanilla is a very rich and long-lasting vanilla. On my skin, I only perceive the vanilla and a quite notable solar or salty note, which unfortunately reminds me of the smell of egg white and I do not like it entirely. When layering with Benetton Sisterland Golden Vanilla, I think it becomes incredible, as both fragrances enhance each other. This combination reduces the salty touch which is very noticeable on me, fixing that egg white smell and leaving a sweet, enveloping vanilla that lasts for hours.

The opening is citrusy, but from the very first moment the vanilla whispers ‘prepare yourself, I’m coming’. Once dried, without the citrus note, it becomes warmer without reaching sweetness, with the vanilla present until the very last moment. It is lovely, has decent performance, but in my case, it is not a perfume I would buy again.
What rich vanilla! I fell deeply in love with this fragrance, which has nothing to do with the Aqua Allegoria line. It isn’t 100% fresh; it is luminous, solar, sweet, with a hint of acidity that avoids the headache-inducing heaviness of cloying vanillas. It is warm, sugary, and summery, delicious… very addictive yet perfectly wearable. Good projection and longevity, enveloping and super enjoyable. Please, do not smell it on a blotter.
How rich this vanilla is! I fell in love with this fragrance, nothing like the Aqua Allegoria line. It’s not 100% fresh; it’s luminous, solar, and sweet with a slight acidity that avoids the headache-inducing heaviness of some vanillas. It’s warm, sugary, and summery, delicious… very addictive yet perfectly wearable. Good projection and longevity, enveloping and super pleasant. Please, don’t smell it on a blotter.
After many years, a vanilla perfume that surprises me has arrived. I love it.

OMG, I tried several Guerlain perfumes and this one literally turned my head. I haven’t been captivated by a scent this much in a long time. Good performance and projection; I can still smell it intact after three hours; it feels like I just put it on five minutes ago. For my nose, it is an exquisite acidic vanilla, nothing artificial. Guerlain does everything right; I love this house. These are the perfumes I look for: they stand out without being overpowering, in a very refined way. So sensual, I am completely smitten with this scent; I don’t want it to ever run out.
I’m not sure if the perfume was faulty, but it truly smells like bakery vanilla with a puppy that has just taken a drink of water.
This perfume is a love. It has spectacular scent quality and longevity. The opening is citrusy with a slightly acidic touch from the bergamot and a eucalyptus freshness that doesn’t overwhelm, ideal for those who don’t like mentholated notes. It has a soft talc-like base, followed by a pleasant sweetness. It lasts hours on the skin, even until the next day with several sprays. It is neither gourmand nor too sweet; it’s citrusy with a sweet vanilla finish. 100% unisex, versatile for all year round and any occasion.
I’ve gone absolutely mad for this perfume. The eucalyptus and bergamot opening is super fresh and clean, then it transitions into a mentholated vanilla that is sensual yet very subtle and elegant. It reminds me of Parthenope, and I think she would wear it brilliantly.
I don’t understand why on my skin this fragrance smells like egg white with wet earth. Anyway, I recommend trying it before buying, there are people for whom it works very well.
At first I couldn’t identify the scent, it smells like soft vanilla. Then, as it dries down, I immediately recognised it reminded me of Divine by JPG, vanilla, marine with a citrus touch. In my opinion it’s softer than Divine, but equally rich and wearable. I liked it quite a bit. As for longevity, I hope it lasts as long as JPG.
This perfume brings back memories of snacks. It smells like vanilla sponge cake, I can feel the texture of the cake, it has something like carbohydrates.
The scent is long-lasting and soft. It has a marine vanilla and a little mentholated; I imagine it suits summer better. For daytime use it’s quite different, I don’t recommend buying it blind. It’s one of those scents where you need to know if you like it or not, perhaps to smell it again. Personally, it hasn’t convinced me, I used it in winter, but I’ll use it in summer to see how it develops.
It’s just as its name suggests. Two distinct scents are noticeable simultaneously: something herbal and vanilla. I love vanilla, but when I notice the green touch… I’m not quite seeing it.
Second time trying it and I like it more: a wonderfully fresh and salty vanilla, incomparable and contrasting, it becomes addictive. Although I have plenty of vanilla in my larder, this takes a different path. It will probably win me over soon. It reminds me of summer, warm days, ice cream, beach and friends… It puts you in a good mood, it’s not too sweet and you can wear it any time of year. Upon spraying, you note the typical citrus character of the range, and then the vanilla becomes evident as the citrus fades. It’s a light vanilla you can spray without overdoing it. I think the salinity comes from the floating wood and eucalyptus; I don’t detect the immortelle well. It’s also slightly metallic. Along with the fresh and green notes, the scent is more aquatic/sweet than gourmand. This delicious soft but present vanilla remains from start to finish, becoming more intense at the end when the fruity notes give way. Guerlain has created a different kind of vanilla: dark, mystical and, in a way, dirty. It doesn’t shout its sweetness, it seems like that femme fatale at the back of the bar, thoughtful and standing out. The fruity and green notes are prominent at the start, although the bitter orange is only noticeable briefly. At the base, it smells of warm vanilla, not bonbon-like, but smoky, with a slight oud. Decent longevity and average projection for about three hours, then it fades. Approved.
This Guerlain perfume deserves much more recognition. It’s a lovely sweet scent, not at all cloying, with that soft citrus touch that makes it a wonder. For lovers of intense vanilla but not too sugary, this is for you. Plus, its longevity is incredible.
Very rare. The vanilla is brilliant, but that woody note is tricky. If you have 50 perfumes, buy it blind; if not, better not to risk it. It gave me a vibe of Kenzo Homme Marine.
Among vanillas that aren’t gourmand, they usually lean towards the dark and opulent, and I’m a fan of the deep ones. However, this one, despite the declared driftwood, is a luminous vanilla. It opens citrusy with the vanilla present, fresh and alive. As it settles, the flowers emerge giving it the perfect touch, with a soft wood that is one of the best driftwoods I’ve ever smelled. The vanilla lasts from start to finish, about 4-5 hours on skin. It doesn’t project wildly, but you can feel it in the first hours. I love it.
It smells quite odd. The vanilla is ten out of ten, but that woody note is tricky. If you have fifty perfumes, give it a blind test; otherwise, it’s better not to risk it. It gave me a vibe very similar to Kenzo Homme Marine.
Fresh, creamy, warm, aquatic and sweet… what a wonder! It seems to have it all. I don’t understand how they blend the notes so well. At first, it smells like an egg custard dessert, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s a solar, salty and herbal vanilla. To me, it’s the siren perfume (the bright ones, not the dark ones, haha) in a crystal lagoon. I love it and want to buy it.
