Unisex and brutal, it never fails.
Lovely that the vanilla tastes like this: smoky, adult, relaxed and elegant vanilla paired with a dry, exquisite neroli. Totally unisex, perfect for formal or casual days, day or spring. Good performance. At first it smells like Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere, but after five minutes it takes its own path.
Very adult and smoky vanilla, almost like leather or makeup brushes. Warm, serious and super sophisticated, with that elegant profile that defines all Prada Infusions. It is not sweet or tender, but mature and aged vanilla, as if it had smoked elegant cigarettes in its youth. Reminds me of the leather in Kelly Calèche or Guerlain’s Shalimar, though Prada doesn’t quite reach the spectacularity of those formulas. It is experienced vanilla, beautiful and respectful of age, very original.
I tried it in the department store after hundreds of tests on dry skin. Later, on sale, I bought it and what a disappointment. If you are looking for angelic scents like in Angélique Noire or pure vanilla like in Vanille de Tahiti, look elsewhere. It has quality, is well balanced and elegant, without being strident, but it feels like ‘just not enough’ for the Prada price. It smells of moderate infusion with no presence: soft Bourbon vanilla, without indoles, with fleeting citrus that dies in the development. The smoke and neroli are so subtle I don’t notice them. It is a faint, ephemeral and harmless vanilla, lacking force and innovation. Prada lately leaves me speechless, from Paradoxa to this regular and mediocre Infusion, just like the Ylang. I miss the original Infusion with master iris. In conclusion: I will use it because it doesn’t bother, but I regret the outlay for a chic vanilla eau de toilette.
Worn on skin. Smoky, intimate and pleasant vanilla. Not sweet or gourmand, but adult and regal. I liked the first impression.
