Areej from the Attar Collection has won me over with time. I picked it up because it was discontinued, though it didn’t convince me at first: the alcohol and then the talcum-powder floral notes overwhelmed me. I waited a month for it to improve, but by three months it’s my favourite; the notes have balanced out and it’s no longer heavy. It’s delicate, linear and intimate. My husband says it smells very feminine and homely. The sillage is moderate at first, then it stays close to the skin for about seven hours. I use it in spring and autumn; in summer (where it’s over 40°C) I don’t use it much, and in winter it might not stand out unless I wear quite a bit of it. Extra: the bottle is gorgeous. If you already have it and don’t like it, let it mature; if you enjoy talcum-powder scents, it’s a good addition.
The Areej de Attar Collection has truly won me over with time. My husband says it smells very feminine and homely. The trail is moderate at first, then it sits close to the skin, lasting around seven hours. I use it in spring and autumn; in summer (where temperatures soar above 40°C) I don’t use it much, and in winter it might not stand out unless I apply a generous amount. Extra: the bottle is beautiful. If you already have it and don’t like it, let it mature; if you enjoy powdery perfumes, it’s a great addition.
Wow, what a delightful perfume. It has the vibe of Kenzo Elixir but much softer; it’s pure delicacy in its purest form.
