I own both, and the truth is: for a fraction of the price, this is a miracle. I already had the original, even two bottles because it smells incredible and lasts forever, but they told me the Absolute is identical to Azzaro’s The Most Wanted, and they were absolutely right.
The Yanbal Arom Absolute is for daily wear without a second thought. It starts fresh with citrus and the spiced touch of cardamomo gives it a real edge, finishing on a masculine woody base that isn’t heavy, maintaining a certain sweetness throughout. It doesn’t get tiring; it’s perfect for the office, out on the street, or with friends; it always smells clean and modern. If you’re looking for something that works and makes you smell good without any fuss, this is a very good option.
It was my signature for seven years and I still wear it above many that cost up to ten times more. It’s a hidden gem: although it doesn’t have the evolution of an expensive one (worth $20-$30), it sticks to clothes and sheets for days, women love it, and at this price, you can reapply. It’s perfect for cold nights but super versatile for the day. Imagine an Invictus less sweet, more citrusy and dark. It’s a true hidden treasure.
At first, I tried it and it seemed very citrusy with a very alcoholic opening (watch out, out of the box), but I was surprised it smells like Gel Ego at the start. Not bad, it’s what I thought until I finished the bottle. After about three days of constant use, that initial citrus hit fades and a more aromatic, moderately sweet side emerges. The biggest drawback is the first use because it feels synthetic and nothing new, but after three days it changes and feels different. The longevity is average, about two hours of projection, but by five hours people nearby know you’re wearing perfume. Despite being citrusy, when it dries it feels heavy and ambered, but as the projection is moderate, it’s not annoying. It’s good for the day, although if it’s very hot and enclosed it might give you a headache due to the heavy vibe; outdoors it’s perfect. In short, it smells like Gel Ego with a perceptible sweet touch. It’s not youthful; it imposes seriousness. In the end, I liked it: it’s a sweet, woody, and fresh touch, a clean scent associated with someone who likes to take care of themselves. For men.
I find this very citrusy and fresh. I see the original as elegant and citrusy with the star note, the bergamot that never fails. The Element I find very fresh and aromatic with Peruvian notes. Also, they reformulated it with kaffir lime.
Delicious; choose this before the disgusting Arab dupes like Hawas or Hawas Ice. This is better in aroma and cheaper.
The opening made me think it was terrible: just alcohol. I put it on the back of my hand. Two minutes passed and a slight citrus started to be felt, but the alcohol was still at full strength. But from the four minutes… God! What a delicious and masculine thing! I spent the following minutes with my nose stuck to my hand. The longevity isn’t a beast nor the projection, but, the aroma! God, I’m happy just if I can smell it. It’s a true beauty and at a laughable price.
It’s a very good fragrance: I think it’s for night or for the day only if it’s cold, a sweet note mixed with amber that gives it that delicious aroma. It lasts a long time on skin and clothes, has very good projection and trail, super economical compared to niche or designer ones and they smell as good as those. For me, it’s a blind buy.
It’s a very pleasant perfume. Its projection isn’t as beastly as they say in the reviews; it’s moderate, but the scent lasts quite a while. It’s a mix between Invictus and Badboy, a classic conquering boy scent, sweet and easy to understand. You can count on it. Best regards.

I’ve been wearing it for 6 years and I absolutely love it.
Bought it and honestly, it smells 90% like Invictus, but with a touch of cardamomo that gives it maturity. It’s fresh and sweet at the same time, super versatile and guaranteed to get compliments. At half the price, I understand why some might not like it because it’s common, but I don’t notice that everywhere, and I do recommend it if you’re into the Invictus style.
Pff, what a fantastic fragrance, a true gem that not everyone has discovered yet due to fear of catalogue perfumes. The first time I smelled it, I thought it was Invictus, but the person wearing it corrected me, telling me it was a catalogue scent, which truly impressed me. I bought it, and until now, it’s the best I’ve ever owned in my perfume collection; as long as it’s still being made, it will stay in my wardrobe. The scent is similar to Invictus, but with wear, I feel it leans more towards YSL Y EDP. Although I own all three and have compared them, the differences make it seem more like Y than Invictus. In fact, I’ve had others smell it, and they think the same: it smells very similar. Undoubtedly, a gem that competes with and beats many designer fragrances. Regarding the similarity, only an expert nose would notice the difference. A TRUE GEM!

Amber dominates with a cardamomo base; I don’t sense the citrus they mention, neither at the start nor at the end. It’s sweet. Even the dark blue bottle betrays it. It suggests nocturnal moments, elegance, and good taste, but without forgetting it’s a catalogue fragrance with that typical Yanbal alcoholic touch. In the end, it’s a decent option worth trying. I bought a full bottle and it’s one of the best catalogue fragrances I’ve had. It’s versatile and safe for getting compliments. It has an air of Invictus, but it goes another way: it’s more masculine, intense, and like an improved version of what Invictus tried to be but couldn’t. It’s a blind buy. Longevity and projection are high at an excellent price.
Brilliant! I love it for the office. Fresh, strong, and intense notes, with a mysterious woody hint. It fulfils its purpose: it’s extremely long-lasting, over 14 hours on the skin. The downside is that everyone has it, but it’s interesting for daily use.
With this from Arom, we have a less scandalous proposal than Invictus, a more wearable version. It doesn’t put it so much on the youthful side… I’d say something more formal without losing that resemblance to Invictus.
