I bought this blindly based on the glowing reviews and found it here in Spain at a crazy price for the 100ml EDP. It arrived a few days ago alongside its sibling, Rose Oud, and here’s the verdict: the opening is woody, soft and warm, almost sweet. Then the jasmine emerges, but it’s very woody and creamy—nothing feminine, full of character, semi-powdery and warm. After a few hours, the jasmine fades and the woods take over: warm, sweet, balsamic and spiced, with a mysterious, oriental vibe that’s incredible. It’s a soft yet long-lasting fragrance; it lingers on the skin without an overpowering trail. It’s more shy, you have to get close to notice it, like an aura that envelops you. If you’re looking for something fresh and light, look elsewhere. It’s unisex, priced to kill, and highly recommended if you enjoy woody scents with an elegant floral touch.
