  I was given a sample a few days ago and have been testing it. The first impression was very good; I’d never heard of anything similar. I imagine it’s the hazelnut note that other BOSS The Scent flankers have, which I’d never heard of before. The opening is potent and sweet—a sweet treat without being cloying, designed for the night, whether for a party or dinner out. I hadn’t noticed the liqueur until reading the notes now. It’s subtle but it is there, giving it a touch like a riper fruit. At first, I thought about buying it, but the evolution doesn’t convince me. Although it’s quite linear, I notice it fades quite quickly. In fact, the performance seemed so poor that, after finding it on offer for €55 (about €30 cheaper than usual), I preferred not to buy it.

  Intoxicating and very rich aroma. Although it doesn’t declare vanilla, spices, or incense, I perceive that complete combo. A high-quality, very refined fragrance.

  New specimen, freshly added to the collection. A new 2026 launch. Honestly, I had high expectations because BOSS has been doing things very well lately, plus I’m a fan of the brand and the line. As a devotee of the discontinued Boss The Scent Absolute (for me, the best Scent in history), I have to say this is a return to the origins. I can say without a doubt that it is the best The Scent currently available, by far. A warm, seductive, and purposeful fragrance. Nothing boring, with interesting nuances; it mostly maintains the typical sweet-amber soul of BOSS, thanks to the hazelnut. But that characteristic hazelnut is as if it were macerated in a liqueur, making the perfume more elegant and intoxicating. Perfect for dates, night meetings, and outings. Excellent longevity and good projection. A bit pricey for being new, but it’s worth every euro invested. Happy with the purchase.

  I tried the Hugo Boss The Scent Eau de Parfum Intense a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. My wife usually doesn’t like strong or heavy perfumes, yet she loved this from the first moment. It smells very pleasant, elegant, and slightly sensual, but without being overwhelming. It’s not for daily wear, but rather for dressing up for dinner, a date, or a special event. It has that touch that makes it stand out without being excessive. The scent is sweet and warm, with a floral and fruity hint at the start, then evolves to become more intense and creamy over time. Longevity is obvious, around 6 or 7 hours, and the projection is good: it’s noticeable without invading. I’d recommend it mainly from the age of 23–25. It’s an elegant fragrance with personality, ideal for special occasions.

  For those not keen on vanilla, beware: it becomes very vanilla-heavy, and it’s not the amber’s fault. The amber simply adds sweetness and freshness, but as it dries down, vanilla dominates everything. I don’t think they listed all the notes on the box.

  New to the collection, a 2026 launch. As a fan of BOSS and the discontinued The Scent Absolute (my all-time favourite), I’d say this is a return to the roots. It’s undoubtedly the best The Scent available right now. Warm, seductive, and full of character. Nothing boring; it keeps that typical sweet-amber soul thanks to the hazelnut, but it seems macerated in a liqueur that makes it more elegant and intoxicating. Ideal for dates or night out. Longevity and projection are excellent. A bit pricey for being new, but it’s worth every penny. A shrewd buy.
