It was my grandmother’s gift for my 15th birthday, arriving in its original tin and a matching toiletry case. I still daydream about feeling it again. It smells of cotton flowers bathed in a halo of delicate, warm musk. Wearing it made me feel, as someone once said, ‘surrounded by cotton’—light and ethereal, yet forever etched in my olfactory memory. I search for it on eBay because it’s been discontinued in Argentina for decades. I hope I can get my hands on it again without it having been reformulated. It was a dreamy, enchanting scent, tender and feminine.
It was the perfume my grandmother gave me for my fifteenth birthday; it came in the tin that accompanied it, inside a matching vanity case. I still daydream about feeling that scent again, like cotton flowers bathed in a halo of delicate, warm musks. When I wore it, I felt as someone once said: ‘surrounded by cotton’. Something light and ethereal that lingers in the olfactory memory. I’m looking for it on eBay because it’s been discontinued in Argentina for decades. I hope I can get it again and that it hasn’t been reformulated. It was a dreamy, charming, tender and feminine scent.
It was my first perfume!
My mother always wore it. As a child, I’d just open the bottle to savour that rich aroma. I remember it as feminine, floral, fresh and soft. It had a slightly sharp opening due to the aldehydes, but it passed in minutes. It didn’t last long, but it was very affordable. What a pity it was discontinued. I’d love to smell it again 😍😍

I tried it in a magazine and bought it straight away without testing it on my skin. It was the first perfume I ever bought for myself; although it didn’t disappoint, the scent is lovely and fresh, like being wrapped in cotton. It’s super feminine and soft, perfect for everyday wear without being overpowering. Is it still made? It’s a shame that the longevity, projection and sillage are so weak.
