The perfume of glamour, refined and for a woman who is sure of herself. It smells of roses and patchouli; it’s my second favourite. My only issue is that every time I wear it, people sneeze, which makes me angry. It’s very long-lasting, lasting three days on clothes, and has an incredible trail. So far, my favourite from Chanel.
Elegant and feminine, long-lasting without being cloying. It evolves over time: citrusy at first, then sweeter. A very good Chanel perfume.
Exquisite fragrance, my favourite and the only one I never get tired of using.
Totally perfect: the scent, longevity, and presence. It defines an executive and entrepreneurial woman.
In my opinion, this is one of Chanel’s finest perfumes. It’s elegant, intense yet not heavy, simply wonderful for any woman, regardless of age.
To be honest, it doesn’t work for me. It feels too ambiguous and cloying, even giving me a headache. I thought that being called ‘Mademoiselle’ would make it softer than the Coco, but it isn’t; it’s rather overpowering and nothing for morning wear. For me, it was a disappointment; I prefer the Chance scents.
It simply doesn’t suit me; it’s far too ambiguous and reminds me of the Second World War, very cloying and sickly sweet to the point of making me feel nauseous. Definitely not for daytime wear. I thought that being called ‘Mademoiselle’ it would be softer than Coco Chanel, but it wasn’t. A disappointment; I prefer the Chance scents much more.
A classy classic, certainly one of Chanel’s must-haves. In my vanity, it competes with the Miss Dior Chérie, although the Chérie is my everyday scent and I reserve this for special occasions. Flowers, charm, and elegance; it’s long-lasting and I love repeating it.
I absolutely adore the Coco Mademoiselle. I received it as a gift at work and it has become my nightly ritual: after my shower, on my wrists, leaving me with an exotic yet fresh sensation thanks to that lingering lychee note. It’s exquisite, perfect for confident and bold women, though it suits a man wonderfully too.
I love how it smells on others: it’s a clean scent! But on me it’s horrible; it suffocates me and smells different than on others. I’m sticking with Chance.
Delicious! I was in a fix, not knowing what to gift my fiancée for the wedding. My other strong options were La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme or Black Orchid by Tom Ford, but I decided on this Chanel jewel. It’s one to remain irreplaceable in her collection… afterwards I gifted the other two and even the Bon-Bon by Viktor&Rolf, but Coco Mademoiselle already has a super special place in our lives. It’s almost impossible for someone not to like this incredible scent!
I have a question: are all the comments for the Eau de Parfum? Because in the photo it looks like the Coco Mademoiselle Parfum.
It’s a super versatile fragrance that always projects elegance; I don’t know why it gives me that sensation. With other perfumes I quickly know they are ‘fine’, but this one, although it’s a bit further away than others where the vanilla is stronger without being aggressive, has something special. In my opinion, within Chanel’s range it is discreet like Chance or Cristalle, but Mademoiselle has a charisma that makes it elegant and very feminine, perhaps due to the lovely name. The first time I smelled it, I felt something sour, perhaps due to the summer, but it fades quickly leaving the elegance of the lychee, the rose, the patchouli, and the touch of vanilla, making it a discreet citrus. I think it can please both those who don’t like vanilla and those who do, because it is very versatile. Sometimes I’ve mixed it with Cristalle and it becomes much more floral. It’s used day or night; she is always dressed up for anything. The age? It depends on what one carries inside; for any age, without pretensions, it accommodates everything and makes you feel beautiful. Add that its price is astronomical; it’s accepted as an indulgence, but if you settle for lower concentrations, you enjoy it immensely. Its trail and longevity are moderate, and close to the skin it holds up very well.
Today I got the pure perfume. Wonderful, smoky, with intense incense notes. It’s not as pink as the eau de parfum. The fixation is similar to the EDP, but with different notes; the lychee isn’t perceptible, perhaps a touch more vanilla. It’s warmer and less potent. I love it.
Today I got the pure perfume and what a marvel. It smells smoky; the incense is fully noticeable. It’s not as pink as the Eau de Parfum. The longevity is the same as the EDP, but the notes change: it doesn’t smell of lychee, perhaps it has a little more vanilla. It’s warmer and less potent, but I love it.
Well, I suppose it’s the Coco Mademoiselle EDP (not the 2001 or Intense). Regarding the CM2001, I opined that I didn’t like it, but I tried the EDP on my skin and was absolutely blown away. My boyfriend was enchanted by the scent radiating from me: fresher and more seductive. The powder note remains but very subtle, lending elegance. As we say in my country (‘yeeyesada’: a person with class, money, and luxuries), I lack all three, but what can you do, heehee, that’s what it smells like. The point is that my skin accepts it beautifully; my boyfriend was left doing little eyes.
Very elegant and beautiful, it conveys sophistication without being overly sensual. I wore it for years, though it didn’t become my signature scent.
Very elegant and beautiful. It projects sophistication but not sensuality. I owned it for years but didn’t fall in love with it for life.
I decided to buy it based on the reviews I’d read, and wow, it smells fantastic.
I bought this perfume based on online reviews, and my goodness, it smells incredible.
I’ve tried both. On my skin, the EDT is fruitier as it dries and maintains that ‘effervescent’ touch from the start until the end. Conversely, the EDP dries more woody, and the patchouli is more noticeable. I prefer the EDP: it has more body, better consistency, superior dry-down, and lasts longer with less quantity.
Oriental yet fresh, nothing like the EDT. One drop and it launches like a missile. Just like the Coco Parfum, it smells like a luxury hotel: a golden reception, plush sofas, a kilometre-long crimson carpet, and bonbons in crystal. You sense the aroma of freshly cut stems soaked in alkaline water. Thick incense that recharges the atmosphere like blood in my veins; it doesn’t atomise, it’s applied with the cap like the house’s pure perfumes. A beige luxury that promises warmth, the pearl on the skin and not in the sea. I detect jasmine, yellow rose, patchouli, and a soft musk that envelops me in a hypnotic resinous scent. And the balsamic vetiver? It captivates me! No leather or animal notes are needed. It evokes class, lamp crystals projecting rainbows, real magic not ‘Borrás’, living resin, a vast field surrounding dreamlike rooms with flowers. In my room, I sink into the white sheets of that expensive hotel and don’t want to leave; it won’t let me because it lasts for hours. It invites dreaming, turning off the TV, distancing you from nightmares and worries. It could certainly be a signature scent… I dance with it! 🕯️ 10/10.🔥
