  I’m surprised my review is the only one for this fragrance. In short, Consort is a clone of Creed’s Aventus. It’s not identical nor does it vibrate the same way; it’s simply a fresher version of Aventus that Creed fans will struggle to believe is so similar. Overall, Boadicea’s quality is infinitely superior to Creed’s, but with this specific scent, I feel them at the same level. The performance (projection and longevity) is very comparable. I prefer Consort. Why? The batches have better quality control and the perfume smells consistent. In contrast, with Aventus, every batch shows significant or subtle differences; some are leaning towards vanilla, others towards apple, with less pineapple, slightly more smoky, and if you click to get a specific batch, it’s a problem. With Consort, that doesn’t happen, which is why it’s worth it. The bottle is prettier and the price is a bit higher. I like it, although it lacks originality.
