Ugh, what a weight that first review carried! First off, let me warn you: this isn’t the typical aquatic you’d expect. You form an idea based on the name, the bottle, and the notes, but it’s not like that. I’m a huge fan of aquatics, and this definitely isn’t on that track—not at all! It’s lovely, basically floral, but accompanied by a sweet, juicy pear, with amber in the base giving it creaminess. It’s not totally linear, but it doesn’t vary much over time; it keeps the flowers and the pear throughout, with a very, very, very subtle wood touch at the end. Marine notes? They aren’t there, and I have a well-trained nose for them; both my husband and I adore them, so those scents are abundant at home. I reckon that note is responsible for the freshness and the ‘masculine’ touch it has—perhaps without it, it would be super sweet, yet there’s something in the base that keeps it from being so, which I think is fantastic. It has excellent performance: a trail of over a metre for a long time and longevity of a solid 8/10 hours, although I have a privileged pH where even body mists last a long time, so I recommend everyone tries and evaluates it for themselves. Suitable for blind buying: it’s not invasive, it’s not cloying, it’s fresh, and it has a lovely performance. I wore it in the height of summer during the day to test it, and now in winter at night; I liked it more in winter, but that’s very personal 😊

  • It genuinely surprised me how the scent evolves from the opening to the heart; it’s a beautiful olfactory journey where my brain gradually understood where the notes were heading and where they settled for pure delight. It’s fresh, marine, floral, citrusy, and salty. I absolutely love it—it’s persistent and leaves a moderate trail.
