On my skin, the anise is soft, but the musk and amber dominate too much; I didn’t find that peach, jasmine, and rose I was hoping for. I initially thought it would be floral, but it isn’t, what a pity.
I doubt it’s in bad condition, but it smells like an old perfume. I imagined it fresh like Creed’s, but here I only notice graveyard flowers. No fruits, no jasmine, nothing. I’m a huge fan of this house, my favourite is Love in White, and this is a disappointment. Perhaps it’s oxidised; if anyone knows, I’d appreciate it.
What an authentic delight! Love at first sight, it amazed me and sounded familiar. I owned it and it finished quickly because I only used it myself. Creed fits my taste for white, pure, and aldehydic scents, but this, along with Aqua Fiorentina and Love in White, is one of my favourites.
A rough and complex opening, but the magic lies in the dry-down: the fruity, floral, and musky notes float with grace. My wife wears it, it was my gift, and we enjoy studying it together. It’s an acquired taste, not love at first sight. It lasts over 10 hours, projects heavily for the first 5, and leaves a brilliant trail all day.
It smells harsh to me, like sun-burnt dried flowers. There’s no fresh floral scent; quite the opposite. It’s feminine but not delicate. The bottle is pretty, but the scent is rare and different, like flowers freshly taken out of a vase.
I’m not impressed. Spring Flower should be impressive. It smells good, it’s a bright, acidic floral-fruity opening (apple and pear) that excites, but it cuts out. Then the clean, linear jasmine dominates without indolic nuances. I don’t detect the rose. It’s a refined jasmine, for a well-bred girl, lacking maturity and sophistication. It conveys joy, but doesn’t justify its price. It doesn’t last long and needs reapplying. My sister loved it, so if you’re looking for that clean jasmine, it will suit you.
