  A perfume of love and hate. For me, it borders on unpleasant yet it’s addictive and I can’t stop smelling it. The oud and leather kick off with intensity, an animal and medicinal character. The key note is high-concentration dark chocolate, dark and bitter, though tonka vanilla lends it some sweetness. The overall effect is very dirty chocolate. It reminds me of Nasomatto’s Pardon but much dirtier. It’s almost gourmand, as if you’d spilled a cup of hot chocolate on yourself one day when you’re sweating from nerves, not exercise. If you squeezed that shirt, it would smell like the base of Crime. Strange, strange, strange… But it’s precisely for that strangeness that you need it. Given its intensity and darkness, I see it as a night scent, unisex, and suited to cold climates. Scent: 8.5 Longevity: 9 Sillage: 8 Value for money: 5 Versatility: 5 Originality: 10 Overall: 8.5
