At first, I wasn’t convinced because it reminded me of L’Eau d’Issey Florale, and I thought it would have the same acidity, but thanks to a sample, I saw it wasn’t like that. The opening is of roses with a hint of fruit, very fresh. As it dries, I detect woods, roses and a touch of vanilla that give a lovely warmth. I find it totally feminine, fresh, cheerful and, most importantly, very long-lasting, over 10 hours; its trail is moderate to soft.

It’s a very simple perfume, smelling almost exclusively of roses. I like the fragrance, though I find it weak and I believe it doesn’t last long. I own it but haven’t fallen in love with this scent yet.
It’s a very simple perfume, practically smelling only of roses. I like the scent, though I find it quite weak and I don’t think it’s long-lasting. I own it, but I haven’t fallen in love with this fragrance yet.
The Goutte de Rose is a beautiful, simple rose perfume with no grand pretensions; it simply wants to be a fragrant rose. When I wear it, I feel as though red rose petals are drifting from my dress. It’s a youthful rose, with morning dew, very feminine, linear, fresh and clean. The rose is the star, embraced by wood and a touch of vanilla; I didn’t detect any amber on my skin. It’s very spring-like, perfect for daytime wear, it lasts well but with a moderate trail. It evokes freshness, delicacy and femininity. Rating 7/10 PD. It’s very similar to Tous Rosa, Swarovski Aura, Chloé Roses and Stella McCartney Stella.
A lovely, simple, and easy-to-wear perfume. If you’re in a rush and don’t know what to wear, this will be a good companion. It’s long-lasting, makes you feel fresh and clean; the rose is noticeable, but the other notes make it perfect.
I adore Goutte de Rose: it evokes a rose just beginning to bloom, delicate, tender yet captivating. It smells exactly like that—fresh roses with subtle woody touches. It’s not heavy, ideal for hot weather, with moderate trail and fixation. Highly recommended.
Exquisite; it’s the most potent rose among my collection. I use it with restraint to avoid bothering others. I thought it would be like other Cartier scents that don’t invade unless you overuse them, but this is super long-lasting and projects strongly on me. I prefer it in cooler seasons. It’s high quality, typical of Cartier; to me, it evokes freshly cut red roses. If you don’t like roses, it might not be your taste, but I always recommend testing it on skin.
It’s one of the most potent rose fragrances I own, so I use it sparingly to avoid being intrusive. At first, it’s citrusy and refreshing, then within seconds a young, soft rose emerges—very feminine yet long-lasting. As it dries, the rose settles over a light wood without losing its prominence. It’s excellent: it gives a sense of cleanliness and elegance, with a moderate trail and great longevity on my skin.
It’s an elegant, soft rose scent, nothing overpowering. I, a man, wear it for dates; it sometimes attracts women without needing excessive sprays. It’s floral but well-balanced with wood and amber, and as it dries down, it smells clean, almost soapy. It lasts well and leaves a pleasant scent on clothes.
I’m a man and wear this for dates: an elegant rose that isn’t overpowering, yet sometimes makes women take notice. It’s floral but soft, blending well with wood and amber; as it dries, it smells clean, almost soapy. It lasts well and leaves a nice scent on clothes.
