Wow, this is overwhelming, just like the Jesús del Pozo In Black perfume. It smells of pure liquor. I’m not bothered by liquor in Bulgari’s line, but here it’s like being drunk. The same goes for In Black. I’m sorry, but I just don’t like this perfume.
It’s the only one I bought after smelling a sample in a magazine and I loved it immediately. To my nose it’s pure cherry, tonka bean and soft vanilla, more woody than sweet, with a fresh and subtle jasmine. The opening is sweet, but after forty minutes the intensity drops and a feminine sandalwood and amber appear with a touch of violet. On my skin it smells like chocolate cake with cream and cherries, very gourmand and sensual. It’s elegant, uncommon, feminine and coquettish; it always receives good compliments, especially from men.
This is the only perfume I decided to buy after smelling a sample in a magazine; I loved it instantly and I love having it in my collection. I don’t notice any liquor scent, nor anything overwhelming. To my nose, it’s pure cherry, tonka bean, soft vanilla (more woody than sweet), with a fresh and subtle jasmine. The opening is sweet, but after forty minutes that sweetness fades and the dry-down reveals a feminine sandalwood and amber, with a hint of violet. The combination with my skin is very pleasant, sometimes ‘chocolaty’, like a chocolate cake with cream and cherries… very delicious and gourmand, also very sensual. It’s an elegant, uncommon (at least in my circle), feminine, coquettish, and distinguished fragrance that has served me well in any situation. It catches attention quickly and leaves a good impression. I’ve always received nice compliments, especially from men… the closer to the skin, the better 😉
At first, I thought it was chocolate filled with cherries, and although it has that sensation, wearing it doesn’t smell artificial or childish. It has a hint of liquor that gives it freshness; in the end, the vanilla and amber stand out more. It’s a delight, totally recommended. I used it a lot in winter and I think it can be worn in summer at the office because it’s soft but projects. It lasts about six hours.
At first I thought of cherry-filled chocolate, but once worn it doesn’t smell artificial or childish; it has a hint of liquor that gives it freshness, although vanilla and amber eventually dominate. It’s a delight, highly recommended for winter, but also suitable for summer in the office as it’s soft and projects well. Lasts about six hours.
Delicious, sweet, and elegant.
I love it so much…
I received it as a gift. I liked it, but I never would have bought it myself; for me, it was too sweet and heavy, even making me feel older or too elegant. At that time, I went to very informal places, so I think it didn’t fit.
No longer sold… beware of fakes.
The perfume is lovely, seductive, and woody. For me, it’s a bit too strong for daytime wear, but by night it’s incredible: it gives a feeling of sensuality and class. I feel sexy wearing it. It’s a super elegant and refined fragrance, and when you wear it, you don’t go unnoticed. I recommend it for evening.
The scent is top-notch, especially in winter. It brings back memories of a Black Forest cake (chocolate, cherries, and wine). It’s sweet but not overpowering. Of course, Cartier has other treasures that make me happier.
It’s my most recent acquisition; I applied it without many expectations and it surprised me a lot. Longevity: 8 hours projecting very well, at 15 hours I still felt it without effort… Wow. Tonka predominates, something chocolatey and wine-like with cherry, amber and a citrus air that adds freshness. I feel it a bit talcum-scented, very rich. Totally sweet and sensual, for day and night winter use.
I love it. It’s a great perfume, lots of liquor, lots of cherry. I feel it’s very special!
I love it. It’s a fantastic perfume with lots of liquor and plenty of cherry; I find it very special.
It’s a very special and DELICIOUS perfume. I love it.
It’s delicious; I love the opening and projection; it smells to sweet cherries with liquor.
Cartier is my favourite brand. Délices is a gem: an splendid cherry, discreet and very boozy. It’s super light and sensual for those who love fruity scents; it reminds me of In Black by JP, but here the fruity note is cleaner and not overdosed like in the other. I think it’s ideal for young people up to 35, although ultimately the scent depends more on personality than age, though I don’t see an 80-year-old grandmother wearing Délices. The bottle is a beauty.
Cartier is my favourite fragrance brand. Délices de Cartier is a gem from the house, an splendid, discreet and very alcoholic cherry. Super light and sensual fragrance for lovers of the fruity note. It reminds me of the fruity note in In Black by JP, but I prefer Délices; in In Black it’s overdosed and the fruity note turns dark, here it seems cleaner. I think it’s suitable for young people up to 35, although I believe the scent goes more with personality than age, but I don’t see an 80-year-old grandmother wearing Délices. The bottle is a beauty.
My sister gave it to my mum; it smells exquisite. Its acidic cherry opening stands out (due to the bergamot) and then a lovely jasmine remains. One curious day I applied it and I was all day smelling of oregano, even though it’s not listed 🙁
I clarify it’s a 2006 Cartier fragrance, so I expected a vintage touch and I wasn’t wrong. The protagonist is an alcoholic cherry with pepper and bergamot spices. It’s a strident, almost macerated, mature and characterful cherry. I barely notice the floral notes, perhaps in the dry down with the sandalwood. I don’t interpret a modern gourmand, but a classic and vintage sweetness. I’ve read others note oregano and I understand the spiced combination can go that way depending on the pH. In trail and longevity, for an eau de toilette it behaves like a perfume. I advise trying before buying; it can be overwhelming. It doesn’t fit my DNA; I feel it too intense and full of character, for vintage tastes and over-forties. I don’t recommend buying blindly. Compared to Fendi’s L’Aqua Rossa, the similarities are the cherry, but this is more versatile and discreet, more suitable for everyone. The difference is the absence of spices, so for me it’s more elegant. More info on my Instagram and TikTok OlerPoesia. Greetings! Heart
This perfume is endangered and finding it today isn’t easy unless you look carefully. It’s a delight, but a delicacy worthy of luxury restaurants. Super powerful, elegant, luxurious and delicious aroma. Smells to pure cherries, tonka bean, pink pepper, vanilla and amber. Incredible potency and excellent longevity. Cartier says it’s for shining and bewitching. Every time I wear it I feel special. I was lucky to get this bottle.
I don’t sense anything vintage. The cherry opening is very fleeting on my skin and was the only thing I liked because it doesn’t smell artificial, something other cherry perfumes fail at. In the dry-down I only notice a chocolatey aroma that I don’t like, making it common and reminding me of Lolitaland, which I can’t stand, although chocolate isn’t declared here. For me it’s gourmand, but it’s a no.
I feel nothing vintage. The cherry opening is very fleeting on my skin and was the only thing I liked because it didn’t seem artificial, something in which most cherry perfumes fail for me. In the dry down, I only notice a chocolatey scent that I don’t like; it makes it common and reminded me of Lolitaland which I can’t stand. The strange thing is that chocolate isn’t declared here. It’s gourmand for me, just another one, so it’s a no.
Spiced, ambered and talcum-scented with a touch of vanilla. It was a real gem in the 2000s; I was always full of compliments. I kept it with care when I heard it was being discontinued… until today. I wore it on a special trip and finished it there. Now I perceive it with a vintage air. Hoarding things that no longer serve you stagnates energy (Feng Shui). Important to enjoy and make room for the new heart.
