The notes are very confusing. It’s not tropical in the slightest, not even remotely. As someone else said, it’s practically a Tygar or Turathi Blue – very masculine, with a dry-down fougère that feels like the oakmoss is a bit overdone. It may have better quality than the Turathi, I’m not sure, I haven’t investigated further. It’s a good perfume, but keep in mind it is absolutely not tropical. And as with 90% of niche launches these days, you’re just paying for the price tag.
To be honest, Endurance is a logical inspiration from the DNA of Tygar by Bvlgari and hundreds of other fragrances. Is the pineapple barely noticeable at first? Yes. Does it have good longevity? Yes. But as it evolves, it smells of grapefruit and ambroxan. Keep in mind it costs €140. For that, I have Turathi Blue, which offers the same for €25. That’s subjective, of course. But if you want an aroma of that style with a noticeable quality, less synthetic and lasting over six hours, here’s your option.
Endurance by Botanicae reminds me of 90s EDTs, when they lasted 5–6 hours. It’s a pleasant fougère fragrance with grapefruit, lavender and a woody, musky base. However, I emphasise that it’s not an extract or an elixir; it behaves like an Eau de Parfum and on the skin, it’s exhausted by the sixth hour. The projection is good for the first two hours, no complaints. I like that an extract should respond to the level it needs to; I’m not looking for a beast mode, but achieving 8–9 hours in this range would be asking for something titanic. It’s versatile for work or formal looks, nothing tropical. I recommend it from late spring to early autumn. As always, test on skin before buying niche.

Personally, I’d like an extract to deliver on its promises; I’m not looking for a beast mode, but achieving 8–9 hours in this range would be asking for a miracle.
