Descripción

Eternity Moment by Calvin Klein is a floral fragrance for women launched in 2004. Created by Harry Fremont and Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, this composition unfolds an olfactive pyramid that begins with top notes of lychee, raspberry, melon, and guava. The heart reveals a harmony of pink Chinese peony, jasmine, water lily, and passionflower, while the base settles on musk, Brazilian rosewood, cashmere wood, and sandalwood.

  • One of the cleanest and most delicate florals I have encountered. However, like others (D&G The One, etc.), it makes me very sad.

  • Extremely strong, cloyingly sweet and sickening. Only for winter and evening. If you wear it in the morning, you’ll make everyone sick. It gives me a massive headache. I bought it for my mother by mistake; there was no tester in the perfumery, but I remembered one that was almost identical and that I liked, so I confused them. When my mother smelled it, horror! My father gave an unpleasant grimace and threw his head back. It is one of the strongest and most cloying perfumes I have ever smelled.

At first, it smells very strong and sweet. I’m not sure which note stands out most, but it must be the pink peony or cyclamen, something very sweet. I’m struggling to detect more. After about two hours, it softens and becomes pleasant. It reminds me of a fragrance from the 90s, I think Issey Miyake.

  • I have it and it smells divine on my skin. It doesn’t suit everyone due to pH levels. It becomes softer and more delicate as it dries down. It is very feminine, ideal for women who love a deep floral. Perfect for cold, romantic nights or when it’s raining.

  • My quintessential spring perfume, an absolute must-have. Eternity Moment is the perfect floral; I haven’t found anything better. It smells fresh yet delicate, like a freshly cut bouquet; it transports you to a meadow. Once it settles, warm notes of sandalwood and musk make it enveloping. I love it and recommend it wholeheartedly; I’ve rarely received so many compliments. It is the floral of florals with a trail and longevity that are hard to beat.

  • IDILIO: The best thing about it is its femininity, delicacy and romance. A precise and classic floral essence of peonies and roses, with soapy tones and a powdery, musky finish that evokes beauty. Easy to like. It reminds me of Ma Vie or Miracle, but those are fruitier; here the powdery texture is more serious, muted and intense, halfway between them and Pleasures, with more potency. It is the fragrance you wear and when you smell your scarf days later, you just know it smells amazing. It is not provocative, but romantic, nostalgic and tender, like a secret teenage kiss. An ethereal and perfect moment. Its muted tone conveys romance and languor. I discovered it thanks to my cousin who left me a half-empty bottle from her Idylle phase. USE: Very concentrated and lasts all day, so use sparingly. It is enveloping, melancholic and suitable for autumn and spring (not for winter due to lack of warmth). Daytime, daily and for formal or semi-formal settings. For women in love or in love with themselves, with good feelings and no age limit.

  • IDYLL: The best part is its femininity, delicacy and romance; a precise and classic floral essence of peonies and roses. It has soapy touches, a powdery and musky finish that evokes beauty. It’s a bit like Ma Vie or Miracle, but while those are fruitier, here the powdery texture is more serious and intense, halfway between them and Pleasures, with more potency. It’s the kind of fragrance that leaves an unforgettable trail on a handkerchief. It’s not provocative, but romantic and nostalgic, like a secret teenage kiss. A perfect and ethereal moment. I found it thanks to a move: my cousin left me her half-empty bottle, a memento of her idyllic phase. It’s super concentrated and lasts all day; use it sparingly. Due to its powdery floral texture, I see it as melancholic and good for autumn and spring, but not for winter as it’s not very warm. It’s daytime, for daily use and formal or semi-formal settings. For women in love or with themselves, with good feelings, without age limits.

  • Just because it’s floral doesn’t mean it’s springy; it’s too strong. It smells of pure jasmine. I know because I have jasmine at home and have known that scent since I was little. It seems to be just jasmine. It turns out to be excessively cloying.

  • charlotinable

It smells like spring: fresh, cheerful, sparkling and elegant, ideal for a hot and rainy day at the same time. I bought it years ago and fell in love so much that it’s one of the few worth repurchasing.

  • Lima Limón

No one escapes the classic Eternity, but if you add a touch of L’eau D’Issey, you’re set! It’s floral and fresh, although the opening is strong and brings back memories of the 90s. It suits any age and season, and lasts quite a while. Would I buy it again? Yes. Would I gift it? Also (the price helps, hehe).

  • It’s a floral; when first applied, it’s a bit strong, but then it softens and becomes fresh and elegant. Similar to Eternity, just slightly less intense. Moderate durability and trail.

THE BEAUTY OF THE PEONY. Wow, I’m surprised to see all the notes that make up this fragrance, as I only perceived a few. Eternity Moment is a rich, floral and fresh perfume, truly a spring flower. Upon spraying, the first thing I felt was a juicy lychee with a fresh raspberry, but after a couple of minutes, a fragrant peony and a beautiful dewy rose made their triumphant entrance (it’s incredible not to see the rose note listed). After an hour, I detected woody notes. Eternity Moment is very feminine, delicate, fresh and charming, like a walk through a beautiful garden on a sunny morning. I like it, though the problem is there are many similar perfumes. Its trail and longevity are moderate to heavy on my skin. Although it shares similarities with other fragrances, that doesn’t detract from its beauty at all; I recommend it, especially to young people who love roses and peonies.

THE BEAUTY OF THE PEONY. Wow, I’m surprised to see all the notes; I only perceived a few. Eternity Moment is rich, floral and fresh, a whole spring flower. Upon spraying, first a juicy lychee with fresh raspberry, then the peony triumphs along with a rose with morning dew (it seems incredible to me that rose isn’t listed). After an hour, woody notes emerge. It is very feminine, delicate, fresh and charming, like a walk through a sunny garden. I like it, although there are many similar ones. Its trail and longevity are moderate to heavy. Although it shares similarities, it doesn’t detract from its beauty. I recommend it, especially to young people who love roses and peonies.

  • I gifted it to my daughter. I adore the bottle, even the colour of the perfume. It’s a tender, delicious scent with a childish touch, so I think it suits a young girl better. The Calvin Klein brand is a safe bet.

  • irenesasu

It’s a very cool floral, though it smells too romantic and innocent for my style; however, the quality-price ratio is ten out of ten.

  • The most romantic scent in my life line and personal perfumery. I used this fragrance during a phase of growth and discovery; a convulsive, romantic, and innocent winter. I also remember that at that time Scarlett made ‘Lost in Translation’ and I imagined her character smelled of these sweet and bright flowers throughout the Coppola film. The perfume of my 19 years.

  • I bought a decant because I like the notes it says it has. Fresh fruity florals please me greatly, and adding reviews, it piqued my curiosity. But, by God, now I’m surprised to read that it’s delicate and fresh. I realise that every nose is a world and we smell differently. I don’t sense any fruit, none! To me, who is fascinated by guava and raspberry. It’s a very strong opening that even gave me a headache. I only smell jasmine, more jasmine, and a bit of peony, wrapped in a 90s talc that makes it floral and very strong for me. Unfortunately, I had to go shower after trying to smell its evolution for an hour; I couldn’t wait any longer, it didn’t suit me. For those who like it, it has a point in its favour: while I was showering, the scent remaining on my skin was what I would have wanted to smell at the beginning, fruity and fresh, and at the end the flowers. I had to wash twice because it was persistent, so I imagine it has good longevity. A disappointment for me. P.S.: when dry, it has a great resemblance to the perfume So by Oscar de la Renta, especially the talc, although this one is stronger and less fresh.

  • Floral from every angle, a bouquet of flowers. The sweet jasmine is one of the most predominant notes. I bought it blindly and it’s not my style, but I use it when I want to feel a floral and fresh perfume. A scent that radiates spring joy, something old-fashioned, perhaps like a 90s perfume. If you like it and can find it on offer, it could be a good option for a daily perfume.

  • It’s clear, it’s not an easy perfume, one of those you buy blindly (I did so the first time) and ended up gifting to my mother who adored strong and cloying perfumes (they worked well on her as her pH reduced them). I believe within the low-cost ‘Cabotine’ range it has the same property of ‘leaving a trail just by brushing past’, although there’s little else to compare between the two, as they don’t resemble each other olfactively at all (not even the rose). If I had to assimilate it, I’d compare it to an old French niche perfume I can’t recall the name of but remember its beautiful bottle with a crystal stopper. In the base notes (marvellous), it tends towards Dyptique Rose + Rive + a distant original Coco Chanel + something talc-like and softly caressing like my grandmother’s Pons cream. Although I don’t have my mother’s pH to dominate perfumes, it seems years have favoured our relationship: while I struggle with it after a short while (no more than 15 mins), it’s a perfume not only tolerable in its projection but desirable. Curious thing: in my office where everyone prefers gourmet perfumes, citrus and sweets (mass-produced nowadays) and can’t stand my great loves (Coco Mademoiselle, Miss Dior, Tom Ford Vanilla, Femme de Hugo Boss), they love this one (as long as I don’t apply it in the office). I think the attraction is the peony and water lily in the heart notes, that Eden garden sensation. But beware, a talc-laden, caressing, and comforting garden that doesn’t smell of grandma or speak of full freedom, but of a lap, a warm embrace, and innocence. Hence, although in the 90s it was for girls, I think it’s for those same girls when they want to feel happy, secure, and project security (a cheerful mum perfume, someone in my work would say). Never use it in meetings where you aren’t presenting or want to remain unnoticed (it’s easier with ‘La Vie est Belle’). For all the above and because it’s cloying (in a good sense), it’s ideal for autumn, not too cold or rainy winters, or for a night with friends, drinks, or cinema. It’s one of my favourites, but never blindly, always testing it on skin first, never judging on first impressions.

  • Correction: after writing this, I felt compelled to buy it (and in 100ml, the very very…). It’s not the perfume of before… it has been reformulated. I thought it was defective or my bottle was faulty, but a sample was gifted to me and it’s not as fabulous as it used to be. It now has that metallic note so fashionable in new reformulations, the one that was excessive in Gabrielle by Chanel and wasn’t needed in the new Miss Dior; a note that many millennial girls love. Another change: it no longer fills the room (a point in its favour). But the peony and lychee that were immediate before now take a few minutes to emerge in moderation. Anyway, it remains elegant in small doses.

  • Milaaah123456789

I’m not disgusted by it; it has its own charm. I perfectly understand why people say it ‘takes you back to the 90s’, as similar perfumes were used back then. It reminded me of the hugs my mother gave me when I returned from work when I was little. It evokes tenderness with character; it’s semi-elegant, suitable for a young but mature woman. I feel it’s suitable for all seasons; the note that stands out most is jasmine. It wasn’t what I expected, so most likely I’ll gift it to my mother.

  • It’s super sweet and tender. After a few hours, it leaves a very pleasant and soft scent. It evokes something childish but it’s beautiful. In my case, I only recommend it for cool climates, as it feels cloying for summer.

  • This perfume reminds me very much of Elizabeth Arden’s 5th Avenue without reformulation, but with less sillage and longevity.

  • What more can I say? It’s delicate and feminine. I used to wear it in 2005 before going to school, and several classmates complimented me, so I know it has persistence, or at least it did back then. After a crowded bus journey, the floral and ethereal scent remained. Perhaps I’ll buy it again.

  • MarinaEtoile

I like it, though not entirely; I’d describe it as a lovely, balanced, and feminine composition. It’s persistent, although its projection is moderate. It immediately brings to mind the classic 5th Avenue by E. Arden, taking me back to the 90s. For the price, it’s perfectly adequate.

  • Delicate, clean, fresh. Ideal for spring and summer. Despite not being a fan of floral scents, I absolutely love this one.

  • It was a gift but it’s not to my liking. It’s fresh, but I find it too heavy. It’s flowers and a slightly bitter clean smell. For that very reason, I almost never use it.

  • I’ve had the chance to try it and I like it, but I don’t love it. If they gift it to me, I’ll use it without problem, but I wouldn’t buy it, although it’s not excessively expensive. A soft floral, but cold and ‘dirty’, it doesn’t quite convince me, and it doesn’t last long on my skin. I see it as an autumn and winter scent, as it doesn’t seem fresh or light to me.

  • Loliky86

Strong opening that settles quickly, a wearable floral, soft yet sweet without being heavy. A clean, powdery sensation. A good perfume for daily use if you want to smell nice all day without standing out or being annoying; this is a very good option.

  • Maria Teresa

I used this perfume during spring and have already gone through practically half of the 100ml bottle. It’s a reformulated fragrance, so its longevity on clothes is much lower than I expected; on the other hand, on skin it can easily last all day until you take a shower. Its sillage is weak, almost personal, which I don’t like personally; I prefer my perfume to leave a pleasant trail, but this one is very short. It’s a pleasant floral but nothing extraordinary for Calvin Klein; I expected it to be more potent, but it isn’t, it’s subtle. I received no compliments, but it’s still a perfume many will enjoy, just not something special. The flowers are more perceptible than the fruits, perhaps a bit of melon and to a lesser extent guava.

  • A capricious and youthful fragrance. I think its price in Argentina is too high for what it is, as at that price you can find cheaper perfumes of better quality that don’t feel so artificial in their floral notes. I use it for everyday wear, and as its longevity is moderate, it doesn’t bother me in the office.

  • They gave it to me for my birthday, luckily I had two blotter strips, but I didn’t like it. It’s a fruity floral fragrance where the passionflower stands out in the heart notes, accentuating its fruity tones; by the way, if you like those notes, you’ll enjoy it immensely. There’s also a very serious jasmine, quite similar to a Paula Cademartori cologne. In short, I was able to exchange it for another perfume I preferred.

  • The smell is of old-school perfumes, like Elizabeth Garden. It’s too strong; I wore it several times and couldn’t stand it, it’s so annoying it gives me a headache. Better to gift it to a grandmother; they tend to like those intense scents. I bought it without checking the reviews, only just found this website, and it’s a treasure.

  • I liked Eternity Moment at first, but it didn’t quite win me over. It sounded like other floral scents with a sweetened, fruity twist… but over time, I’ve come to adore it so much that I’m thinking of buying a 100ml refill. One of my favourite flowers is the peony, which really shines here, beautifully supported. Beyond the scent, I love its good longevity without being overpowering. It’s very pretty for everyday wear, especially in spring and summer. Cheerful, youthful… Although today’s teenagers might have other tastes (gourmands to the death), it is certainly not a vintage perfume for an older person. A girl who wants to smell clean, feminine, cheerful and carefree could wear it. Lovely for any age and with a quality/price ratio that is more than acceptable.

  • Clari Soriano

Smells like a lady, yet I’ve loved it since I was young. This delicate, elegant floral bouquet from Calvin Klein never misses the mark with any Eternity for Woman flanker: excellent sillage and longevity.
