There’s a very strong resemblance to L’Imperatrice. L’Imperatrice is one of my favourites, and whenever someone says something smells the same, I always look for flaws and can’t find any. But I absolutely love Gold Diva. I can’t find a single fault. Edit: with the bottle nearly empty and comparing it to L’Imperatrice, Gold Diva has a slight metallic note, whereas L’Imperatrice is more fruity and juicy. Nevertheless, the similarity is undeniable.
I’ve tried other Roberto Verino fragrances and they hooked me, this one too. It smells of lovely little flowers, just a touch sweet. The bottle is timeless and classic, and the liquid looks gorgeous. The only downside is you need to spray quite a bit to feel it, as it’s quite subtle and not very potent. As for longevity, I can’t smell it after a while, but several people have told me it lasts for hours and smells absolutely brilliant, so even if I don’t notice it, it’s there.
