Hemlock is a super light EAU de toilette; although it smells sweet and ambered, its fresh base makes it ideal for daytime, even in intense heat. Beyond the official notes, what I pick up are fresh white flowers, slightly sharp with an animalic touch, over an amber base. The rum and that hint of plastic vinyl come out strong at first, accompanied by a spicy note. I recommend it if you’re looking for something daily for summer but want to steer clear of typical citrus or aquatic scents; or if you want something sweet that doesn’t cloy. If you like white flowers and are seeking something different, this is your spot, because Hemlock is unique. Longevity is moderate, but logical for an EAU de toilette. The price isn’t bad for a niche brand with limited production. This is exactly what it offers: exclusivity. Scent: 8.5 Longevity: 7 Sillage: 6 Versatility: 10 Originality: 10 Overall: 8.5
