It’s a real, sweet strawberry without being cloying, with a spectacular woody base and excellent longevity. This house has impressive quality; almost everything they release is worth it, and this fragrance is no exception.

Strawberry hits instantly, incredibly photorealistic: neither too sweet nor too acidic, a satisfying balance wrapped in a curious milky veil. Then I detect hazelnuts or similar nuts over a creamy sandalwood and refined vanilla. They say there’s white oud, but it’s so white it camouflaged behind the milk, and I can’t smell the iris either. I like it, though I’m not sure if I love it.
