I’m surprised by how few reviews this perfume has… A marvel from Estée Lauder! Now reformulated but still Intuition. Few people know that this perfume, in its origins, back in 2000, is a creation by Alberto Morillas. And it was an absolutely wintry perfume due to its power, density and intensity. For me it’s more a floral amber than a musky perfume. It’s beautiful, feminine, elegant and with a restrained sweetness… a jewel from the house of Estée Lauder, with citrus, green and woody notes. Amber is also very noticeable here and deserves its place. If you know Cinéma by YSL, this perfume goes down that same path… I’m not saying it smells the same or that it resembles it. But it’s in the same line as those magnificent designer perfumes created around 2000. I suspect that this Intuition, a truly great fragrance, may already be on its way to extinction because of its scarcity in perfume shops. I bought it again after 20 years, now in its 2015 version, and it’s still the same, although now more spring-like. It has less longevity due to the reformulation, and they’ve taken away some power, but it still has the essence and DNA of its predecessor. I needed to have it again before it disappeared completely. It brings me very beautiful memories… when I was a teenager I gave it to my mum for her birthday. I saved a lot to be able to buy it in a perfumery in my neighbourhood. It reminds me of her… There are few or almost no reviews about this perfume. And it’s a shame… I love it and totally recommend it.

  2. I’m surprised there are so few reviews… what a wonder from Estée Lauder! It has been reformulated but remains Intuition. Few know it was born in 2000, created by Alberto Morillas, and was originally a winter fragrance due to its potency and density. To me, it’s a floral amber, not musky. It’s exquisite, feminine, elegant and intensely sweet… a real gem from the house with citrus, green and woody notes. The amber really stands out and deserves its place. If you know Cinemá by YSL, this follows a similar path… it doesn’t smell exactly the same, but it continues that line of magnificent designer fragrances from the early 2000s. I suspect it’s on the verge of extinction due to its scarcity. I bought it again after 20 years, in the 2015 version, and it’s still the same, though now slightly more spring-like. It has less longevity and projection thanks to the reformulation, but it retains the essence and DNA of the original. I needed to own it before it disappeared completely. It brings back beautiful memories… when I was a teenager I saved up to buy it for my mother’s birthday at the local perfumery. It reminds me of her… there are so few reviews about this fragrance and it’s a pity… I love it and recommend it 100%.
