A masterpiece, without a doubt. On my skin, just a few minutes after application, it smells identical to Prada’s Infusion d’Iris Cedre.
Soft and exquisite. The opening is very particular and doesn’t quite take my fancy; I imagine baby powder with citrus notes and bitter undertones from the carrot seed. However, the magic lies in the dry-down: a soft, talc-like scent where violets and iris really shine. With body heat, waves of ylang-ylang and a very subtle jasmine emerge; here the rose merely balances and highlights the other florals. All this sits over a base of soft cedar, benzoin, and dry vetiver, with the occasional hint of high-quality frankincense stick, unburnt. It seems simple yet is a complex fragrance that keeps surprising. In its final phase, the musk and incense become noticeable, now as a gentle smoke, while the cedar lingers very faintly. Projection depends on the sprays: with two or three, it’s not invasive, noticeable at 30-40 cm, and stays skin-close after three hours. I’m not sure how it performs with more as I only have a 2 ml sample and don’t want to waste it, haha. It lasts incredibly well; it’s been eight hours and it’s still very present.

Projection depends on the sprays: two or three are non-intrusive, detectable at 30–40 cm, and settle close to the skin after three hours. I’m not sure how it performs with more, as I only have a 2 ml sample and don’t want to waste it, hehe. It lasts incredibly well; it’s been eight hours and it’s still very present.
