The king of Christmas. Opens with orange and black chocolate with icing sugar, not cloying. Then cardamom and two ouds (one woody, the other subtly dirty) add complexity without being aggressive. As it dries, it becomes dense and even sweeter. Three clear phases: an oud base, a citrus middle, and that icing-sugar chocolate on the surface. Very sweet; I like it, though I prefer darker scents. I wouldn’t keep it, but it’s a top-tier fragrance. Unisex, not very versatile, but with brutal longevity.

Definitely not. It’s an animalic and chocolatey blend reminiscent of Kemi. That dirty sweetness isn’t for everyone. Leans more masculine with quite good longevity.

I admire Xerjoff’s quality. Symphonium is unisex; on my skin it opens with oud—one dirty, one woody. Then comes chocolate, cardamom, and vanilla, creating a comfortable and sensual vibe. It’s complex: reminiscent of Kemi and Vía Cavour 1, but sweeter. In heat, the orange notes emerge and it feels less masculine; in winter, the spiced oud dominates. I wear it when I want to analyse its complexity.

Sounds odd, but I like it. The opening is orange with chocolate and a hint of faeces… yes, I like it, I don’t understand why, but it’s hypnotic. After an hour, that note disappears, leaving just chocolate and orange.
