Although I adore it, I still get comments that I smell like dish soap. And it’s true, it does smell similar. But at least it’s a clean scent, if that’s even a compliment.
I’ve been wearing it for a year and can say, without exaggeration, that Lemon Line is an outstanding perfume. From the first spray, it offers a sweet, clean, and refreshing lemon; it’s a linear scent with little evolution, but it doesn’t need more to shine. Its well-executed simplicity is exactly what makes it so addictive. Over time, it has become one of my favourites in the entire collection, that kind of fragrance you enjoy so much that when it runs out, you’d buy it again without hesitation. The projection is impressive: it fills a room with surprising ease. And in terms of longevity, on my skin it reaches a comfortable 8 hours, something notable for a citrus of this profile. A luminous, direct, and perfectly balanced perfume.
LA AMOOOOOOO! I started my collection early this year and this was one that caught my attention; this is a gem for hot weather. If you really love citrus perfumes, you’ll adore this.
The perfume is very citrusy and tastes like a sweet lemon, a pleasant and good scent for everyday wear. It’s not as well-known by Mancera as other releases and receives compliments from both genders. Not as famous, but it’s an absolute gem.
I don’t understand the complaints about performance. Check if they are original fragrances, because mine easily lasts over 10 hours with very good projection for the first 3-4 hours. It’s the one with the highest longevity in my citrus collection. It’s nothing to write home about in terms of scent, and you might even find it slightly synthetic and not very natural, but the complaints about performance are irrelevant because the performance is outstanding.
To all those people complaining about the performance, wait a month. At first, I felt it was weak, but now I feel it’s very long-lasting. It’s the peak of citrus perfumes. At first, it’s a yellow lemon, clean but spicy; by the dry down, it’s a curious experience, like a floral lemon drop. One of the best things for summer.
Straight to the point. Lemon, lemon leaf, lavender. Most people told me the opening smelled like floor cleaner. Still very rich and enjoyable. I have the 2022 batch with the magnetic cap, and it leaves much to be desired in terms of projection and longevity.
If you live in Chile, there’s a caramel called Full Limón. This perfume is literally that same scent. It has very good ingredient quality; you can tell. The evolution is more interesting, but it doesn’t lose that full sweet lemon aroma. It’s not a bad scent, but the longevity is poor.
There’s not much more to say about this fragrance than: delicious. It’s a very pleasant fragrance; if you are a lover of lemon, this is your best option. When you apply it, it smells like lemonade with very, very light touches of moss, lavender, and orange, but above all that, the lemon. It smells like an intermediate between Channel Edition Blanche (but much less sweet) and Dior Homme Cologne (but slightly sweeter and more complex). Definitely fresh, for extreme heat, with a very natural aroma, probably because it uses high-quality ingredients. It has good projection and longevity, nothing incredible, but it more than fulfils in those aspects. I could say it’s one of my favourites. Edit: I stopped wearing it for a while because the atomiser broke; finally, I managed to fix it. Now that it has had time to age, it has changed completely; now not only is the lemon perceptible, but I feel much more of the white floral part and an amber note; also, the lavender comes out much more. It has become a bit more complex with a slight soapy feeling, if you will, and its power and longevity have increased.
At first, it’s a well-concentrated lemon, but immediately you feel orange, amber, and musk, and the bite of the lavender. It’s a modernised 1990s sport-type fragrance. High-quality ingredients.
Look, both my friend and I were left with a bitter taste, but not because of the scent. At first, it smells like freshly squeezed lemon with the peel, sour and bitter. Within minutes, it softens and a touch of lavender and soft flowers emerges (I’m not an expert on perfumes to tell you which ones, haha), and then you detect a mossy note, like when you breathe hard in a damp place, like a forest, which isn’t bad. The downside is the longevity: I used it in summer and now in mid-December, it’s the same, about 4 or 5 hours. The trail disappears after two hours. I recommend it if you like lemon, but if it lasted longer, I would definitely buy it again; it smells very good.
Literally, it’s like cutting a lemon on the tree and smelling it. Batch from 2022, the performance is there, right on the edge of the precipice…

A citrus fragrance with a scent that doesn’t project well. It’s lemon and more lemon. Lasts 5 hours on skin, up to 7 hours on clothes is normal. I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s good quality, but not for me.
For a citrus, it has quite good performance and projection. On skin it lasts more than 7 hours, on fabrics it can last days depending on the material. The scent is linear, lemon and more lemon, sweetened until it resembles a lemon dessert, it’s pleasant and has brought me several compliments. A good all-rounder for daily wear in summer or hot climates. This perfume lives up to what the Mancera house is used to, it stands up to the brand. 9/10.
This fragrance has most of the notes I like (mandarin, juniper, lavender, lemon, geranium, etc…) and yes, I am tempted to buy it (if it were available). The geranium, the herbal note of lavender and the citrus are present from the start until the intermediate evolution. It may seem linear, but that doesn’t matter, because if you like these compositions, it’s exactly what you want to smell. In my country there are no seasons, I live on the equatorial line, but I would say it’s for use in summer and spring during the day, for events with a certain formality. I join the chorus of admirers, it deserves it. Also, it seemed to me a fragrance in the style of old citrus like Dior Eau Sauvage.
The best lemon perfume I’ve tried to date. Simply put. I am eagerly waiting for the warm and humid days of Argentina to get the most out of it. For me, it boils down to three phases: the opening and the first 5 minutes smell literally like lemon peel (photorealistic), then it turns into lemon proper with a slight sweetness, like fruit candies or lollipops. In the middle and final phase, it becomes a lemon with very clean white flowers and an exquisite creaminess that rounds it off. Moreover, it has more than acceptable performance for a citrus and makes itself felt in the air quite well (lasts much longer than Dior Homme Cologne or Allure Edition Blanche). Sincerely, it’s a proper perfume bomb, one of the best from Mancera.
It arrived two weeks ago and I’ve tested it quite decently. Look, it’s cool but very linear. If you want to enter the niche world expecting a ‘lemon madness’ that evolves… this isn’t it. It comes out like a lemon caramel, like Nimm2, which turns bitter after half an hour, something milky (personally I don’t see the lemon cake anywhere) and that’s it, no more magic. Projection is high at first, but afterwards it settles into something normal, same as the longevity. I’ve received several compliments at the start because it’s striking to smell so much lemon, but afterwards it stops being perceived. It’s okay, if you find it on offer, but it’s not worth going crazy and paying the normal price. I’m happy to have found it very cheap and now that summer is coming, I’m going to use it quite a bit.
I received compliments on the first day I wore it to the office. ‘Relaxing aroma’ is how I describe it and how it was described to me. Recommended for the office on summer days or to lift spirits on an ordinary morning.
Test on skin for the whole day before buying. It was a mistake to test and buy after 10 minutes; it’s a very good fragrance but on my skin it lasts a maximum of 4 hours. I had hoped it would last at least 8 or 10. As a lesson for acquiring Mancera: better keep the fragrance on all day before buying. Very rich first scent, it’s a hit to concentrated lemon washes and until 2 hours it smells like lemon candies. Afterwards, a low concentration of musk is felt (perhaps that’s the reason it lasts so little on my skin, surely a batch issue).
Smells like a real yellow lemon tart, with a spicy opening that softens into white flowers. Lasts brutally on my skin for over eight hours, projecting strongly even at a football match and party. Not a revolutionary scent, but given the ingredient quality and price, it’s worth it and has already earned me compliments (8/10).
My first niche fragrance; smells like natural lemon with a sweet touch. It’s not the same as Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, which is creamier; this is more citrusy. Lasts between six and eight hours with moderate sillage, ideal for hot weather. I wouldn’t wear it to very formal events, but it looks great for casual or semi-formal occasions.
A good citrus with white flowers and moss; lasts longer than the average citrus but isn’t a beast. It puts me in a good mood, but its flaw is that it’s very linear with no noticeable evolution, which is disappointing for the price. It’s unisex, a bit more intense than the usual feminine style, so I wouldn’t recommend it much for girls. It’s good, but not extraordinary.
What a letdown to have such high expectations. I bought Lemon Line based on good reviews, expecting a creamy lemon with lavender and oakmoss… but on my skin it’s linear: from start to finish it smells like lemon caramel, nothing creamy. I remember those lemon caramels from the 90s my grandmother gave you when your throat was dry; that’s what this smells like. It lasts well, about six or seven hours, but projects nothing. It’s a decent, natural scent for mild climates, but there are better options for the price. It hasn’t convinced me to keep it, although I know Mancera lovers or citrus fans will adore it. Perhaps it’s a bad batch or reformulation, but always try before buying to avoid disappointment.
I tested a decant from two years ago and a new one, and I can tell the scent has changed. Previously it was a more feminine floral citrus; now the citrus is sharper and the floral notes are reduced. It smells like lemon candies and feels overpriced. It only lasted about three hours.
Smells super acidic, lacking that sweet touch found in Allure Blanche. It’s linear and barely evolves into sweetness. The longevity is short, ‘just there’. I would always prefer Allure Blanche if it lasted longer. UPDATE: Once dried, the acidity fades and it doesn’t smell like a lemon foot; it’s skin-scent only. I don’t recommend it.
I just bought it and I love citrus scents that make you salivate as if you were squeezing a lemon. The good thing is that although it shifts to something sweeter, it never loses that acidic touch for those who don’t like overly sweet fragrances.
Of what it offers, it’s unique: citrusy, sweet, and potent. Some say it smells like lemon tart or lemon candies; it’s a sweet, long-lasting citrus, fairly simple and very fresh, ideal for summer and spring. I join the reviews saying it can seem synthetic or like a cleaning product, but the composition is high quality and well-blended. In my opinion, I consider it a feminine-leaning unisex.
It’s an extremely potent citrus fragrance; as someone said, it reminds me of lemon candy, at the intensity of a HALLS. At first it’s a bit strident but tends towards creamy. It has good longevity; I’d love for Hermes Eau de Toilettes to last as long. Problem: in my mind it smells like floor cleaner. Although the composition is high quality, it smells like that. I find it interesting as an olfactory experience, but that’s all; certainly, I wouldn’t pay what it costs.
It’s an excellent fragrance; I just ordered a new 2021 bottle with the magnetic cap, but they say it’s not what it used to be and that its longevity and projection are things of the past. I’ll wait to try it and then say if it’s true that its longevity has dropped; I hope I’m wrong.
