Today is the turn of Lemon Pie by Zara Kids; I’ve already tried Matcha Mochi and Bubble Waffle, which didn’t take my fancy, but this one has definitely won me over. The notes promised align perfectly with what it smells like: lemon and passionfruit, with a very soft milky touch. Bear in mind, it doesn’t smell like lemon cake or sponge as the name suggests. It’s a clear, sweet, energising lemon, perhaps with a hint of caramel, very fresh and citrusy. I wouldn’t call it a sweet citrus, but rather gourmand. It’s ideal for spring and summer, perfect for the whole family or even for children. The longevity is typical of the line, between 3 and 4 hours; these are eau de toilettes, not perfumes. The price is a bit steep at 9 euros for 30 ml, the same as in the women’s section. It’s a good cologne, ideal for boosting the lemon in other perfumes such as Jeanne Arthes’ Tartelette Citron. It reminds me a little of Soft.
