Loewe 7 Sport is: 1) The Loewe 7 light. That is, the great incense imprint of the original is still felt here (especially when drying down, when it takes over the whole fragrance), just more subdued. The other notes I detect are mandarin, neroli, and mint. All very soft (not weak) and balanced. 2) It’s the second most docile and versatile perfume behind Esencia Sport. It might share that spot with Loewe 7 Natural, but since I tested it long ago and it had that dental office smell (I don’t mean to say it’s unpleasant, as I considered it a lovely perfume) which might put some people off, I give the 7 Natural the third spot. Trail and longevity: moderate.
I tried this fragrance with a sample and, although it is sporty, the longevity on my skin is very good, superior to the average. I applied it at 6:30 AM and it was still noticeable by 4 PM, even though it had settled close to the skin. It smells very similar to 7 Natural. At first, there are notes of yuzu, mandarin and incense, but the latter dominates the entire evolution. I think there is a hint of pepper; it reminds me sometimes of Burberry Beat, alongside soft, well-blended mint and neroli. Ideal for spring and summer, or any season if not over-applied. It is less elegant than the original Loewe but more cheerful. I like it, but I do not recommend buying it blindly.
Today I tried this fragrance thanks to a gifted sample, and I must say that, being a ‘sport’, it had more than acceptable longevity on me, above average for this type. I applied it at 6:30 AM and could still smell it at 4 PM, though close to the skin. It’s very similar to the 7 Natural. The top notes are yuzu, mandarin, and incense, though the latter ends up dominating the entire olfactory experience. I’m almost certain it has a bit of pepper (it reminds me of Burberry Beat at times); the other notes are felt slightly and blend well, like the mint and neroli. Perfect for spring and summer and any season, just taking care not to overapply. It’s less elegant than the original Loewe 7 but also more cheerful. I like it. Still, I don’t recommend buying it blind.
Loewe 7 with all its coherence thanks to the incense note. Here, the incense takes the lead but shares the role with very distinct and real aromas of yuzu and mandarin, especially at the start. The dry incense weaves these notes together, adding mint and other green scents in the middle. Drying down, the plastic-like ambroxan takes over, leaving reminiscences of the whole. I find it pleasant and for personal enjoyment rather than sensual, neither fresh nor warm, neither for sport nor work nor outdoors… Versatile, much softer than its relatives.
Löewe’s 7 maintains its coherence thanks to the incense note. Here, this protagonist shares the stage with very distinct and realistic aromas of yuzu and mandarin, especially at the beginning. The dry incense unites these notes, with mint and other green scents joining in the middle. As it dries, a plastic ambroxan dominates, leaving reminiscences of the whole. I find it pleasant and more for personal enjoyment than sensual; neither fresh nor warm, and to withstand sport, work or outdoors… versatile and much softer than its cousins.
It’s not a typical ‘sport’, and that’s a relief: it’s not a boring, faint freshie that lasts two hours and vanishes. It begins with soft mandarin and yuzu (not sharp) with a beautiful green tomato leaf note, revealing the same incense from the 7 family right from the start, just more subdued. In the heart phase, the citrus notes remain but no longer dominate, and a mint note keeps the freshness alive. Someone mentions ambroxan, but I don’t perceive it (I find that note repulsive); however, there is a very subtle amber accord drying down to accompany the incense. The longevity is good, around six hours. The trail is moderate for the first hour and weak afterwards. I perceive it as very natural, pleasant, and clean, with a soft, lovely incense. Spring and summer.
It is exquisite; although it may sound strange, it is a fresh incense. Ideal for summer, spring and autumn.
It’s exquisite, though it may sound odd; it’s a fresh incense. Ideal for summer, spring, and autumn.
A delight that combines freshness with elegance. The mint and tomato leaf notes give it a green, herbal touch that I love. The incense, a signature note of this 7 series, combines perfectly and adds an extra touch of elegance. Ideal for spring and summer, for semi-formal or formal wear, and also works brilliantly at work. Its performance is not bad for a ‘freshie’: it lasts well for about six hours, although the trail fades after the first hour. It is a pity it has been discontinued; I would keep buying it if I could. If you find it anywhere, do not hesitate; it is a guaranteed blind buy. Rating: 8.5 out of 10.

I’ve finally managed to get this sought-after and elusive fragrance. The scent is distinct, similar to Loewe 7 Natural but with the tomato leaf note very prominent. Upon first spraying, it smells like insecticide, specifically Raid Home & Garden (from years ago; I imagine the current version doesn’t smell like this), probably due to the tomato leaf. Nothing bad, just an aroma that takes time to develop. I’ll surely buy another one if I can find it again.
It’s a great everyday perfume, fresh yet with incense that makes it super versatile. The citrus note really stands out. It doesn’t last more than four hours and projects moderately, but I reapply without issues at work or university as it’s not overpowering and smells lovely. I feel lucky to have the 100ml bottle, as it’s hard to come by; I inherited it from a deceased relative with excellent taste, and it’s a wonderful example 🥲
