This perfume is mysterious, spicy and festive, with a unique character that makes it unforgettable. From the very first moment, you perceive a green, herbal opening of patchouli, with that earthy, dark touch that sets it apart from any other Lush perfume. Shortly afterwards, a warm, spicy blend of black pepper appears, giving it energy and piquancy, balancing the herbal notes with a mischievous, playful air. The drydown is what fascinates me most: creamy vanilla melts into the patchouli, softening the intensity and leaving a sweet, comforting and addictive trail. The sillage is moderate, but with great personality: it draws attention without being intrusive. The longevity is very good (7–9 hours on my skin), perfect for wearing both day and night in autumn and winter, or on any occasion where you want to feel daring, irreverent and charming. What I love most about Lord of Misrule is that it breaks with convention: it combines dark with sweet, rebellious with comforting. It is a perfume unlike any other that conveys character, mystery and fun at the same time. It is an earthy, spicy and sweet perfume with a unique personality.
