I tried this perfume and it blew my mind: an explosion of blackcurrants and caramelised apple giving way to a floral rose. It embodies the girl in the advert perfectly: sweet, romantic and carefree, ideal for Paris. My only gripe is that it lasts two hours on the skin; without that, I’d buy it without hesitation. For now, the value for money just doesn’t add up.
I loved that initial sweet apple note at first, but the floral trail that follows is so subtle it’s almost imperceptible. It promises so much at the start, yet the dry-down feels far too weak. What a pity.
I just received a sample. At first, the blackcurrants are very noticeable; little by little, it softens, giving way to a delicious tart apple, and then the pink flowers and jasmine mix with the sandalwood, creating a soft, sweet, almost imperceptible perfume. At the beginning, it resembles Dior’s ‘Miss Cherie Absolute’ a lot; after a few minutes, I see it’s very similar to ‘Voile de Cartier’, and in the end, I feel a soft resemblance to ‘Nuit de Boss’ due to the sweetness. I will continue testing it over these autumn days; I think it promises much. I see it more for evening wear.
What a wonderful surprise! I received this perfume as a gift and I didn’t think for a joke that I would like it so much. It fascinated me. Its opening is fruity and gourmand: an explosion of tart apples that give way to a wonderful musk, talcum powder and a clean scent. It’s a super stylish, modern perfume for an independent and confident woman with a touch of coquettishness. I don’t understand other reviews saying longevity and trail are light; for me, it’s quite pronounced; sometimes I have to measure the amount because it can end up overwhelming me. Simply a delicious perfume.
I was gifted a sample and I have to say I didn’t like it at all. I can’t describe what it smells like; I can’t find any of the notes anywhere. It smells of something, but I don’t know what. It’s not unpleasant, it simply left me completely indifferent. Perhaps I don’t know how to appreciate it, but I can’t find the rose, nor the apple, nor the jasmine, or anything.

It’s not unpleasant, simply it left me completely indifferent. Perhaps I don’t know how to appreciate it, but anyway… I can’t find the rose, the apple, the jasmine or anything else.
A very soft floral fragrance; I find it sweet and I like it. At first, it seems like Kenzo’s ‘Flowers’ but much less intense, probably due to the blackcurrants, and as it dries down, it becomes sweeter. I see it for use both day and night, ideal for an elegant woman.
At first, it smells quite of rose, and after half an hour, it starts to become sweeter. However, it’s a soft sweetness, not cloying. It could be worn perfectly on a hot day. Longevity is around six or seven hours and the trail is acceptable. As an anecdote, I debuted it today and a girl asked me what I was wearing because it smelled so good. It’s very feminine, cheerful and coquettish. I see it as ideal for gifting a first EDP to a teenager. Well, I haven’t been a teenager for 20 years, but I like how it makes me feel.
I had it and gave it away almost entirely; on me it only smelled of red apple, very sweet fruit and a little bit of rose and orange. I didn’t like feeling so linear, just sweet red apple. I see it as suitable for autumn and spring, but I didn’t like it at all in summer. It’s not a nuanced or complex perfume; I see it as ideal for a teenager’s first perfume. The longevity was good and the projection average. I wouldn’t recommend it for someone seeking something different or intense, but for a daily perfume, it seems fine.
I had it and gifted almost the entire bottle; on me, it just smelled of red apple, very sweet fruit, with a hint of rose and orange. I didn’t like feeling it so linear, just smelling of sugary red apple. I see it as suitable for autumn and spring, but I didn’t like it at all in summer. It lacks nuances and isn’t complex; I see it as ideal for a teenager’s first perfume. Longevity was good and projection moderate. I wouldn’t recommend it for someone seeking something different or intense, but for daily wear, it seems fine.
What a romantic perfume! I loved it. I bought it online blind because I was intrigued and I love adding to my collection. I don’t feel it’s a mass-market scent; the initial blackcurrant and apple burst is strong, but as it settles, the pink flowers and jasmine come through perfectly. I particularly loved it. Perfect for daily wear in autumn, spring and summer.
What a romantic perfume! I loved it. I bought it online blind because it intrigued me and I love adding to my collection. It doesn’t smell like a generic product; the opening of blackcurrant with apple is strong, but as it settles, the rose and jasmine flowers are perfectly distinct. I love wearing it daily in autumn, spring and summer.
I tried it with a sample and have to say it’s not for me. It reminded me of the original ‘Pleasures’ (which I liked a lot) and the dry-down of ‘Dylan Blue’. On my skin, it has a slightly dirty note that bothers me; perhaps it’s the ambergris. The longevity and trail are quite low.
I fell in love from the very first moment: soft, enveloping, delicious and juicy. Ideal for the heat, it brings that freshness I was looking for. I wear it all the time; sometimes I can’t even smell it on myself, but people always ask what I’m wearing. A beautiful fragrance.
I loved the initial scent, but in the end, it feels shrill and synthetic to me. I’ve used it a lot and eventually gifted it to a friend who is a huge fan. It has good longevity and projection, and people have complimented me often, but honestly, it just doesn’t convince me.
When I tried it, the first impression was putting my nose and whole face right into a huge, sweet, very red rose. Then comes a warm, rather unspecific sweetness. I detect a nod to Lancôme roses, though not equal to any particular one. Rich but not overwhelming.
Mademoiselle Rochas is exactly as its olfactory description: floral-fruity. Upon spraying, you notice a juicy red apple wrapped in caramel alongside the fresh sweetness of blackcurrants, with a citrus touch of lime and orange. Then, in the heart, a rose and an aquatic jasmine emerge, culminating in a base of musky vanilla. After a few hours, in the dry-down, a slight salty ambroxan mixed with a powdery sandalwood stands out, almost imperceptible. After seven hours on my skin, it still persists equally. It’s a bottle of beautiful appearance, a great bet by Rochas for girls in the fullness of their youth.
I love it; the scent is pretty and youthful, a pleasant fruity-chic. I love that note of caramelised red apple that appears when it dries, that’s what I like most. The downside is the longevity: it lasts exactly one hour (I’ve tested it so many times because I love it, timing it), but even with over-application, the result is the same. The fragrance is pretty and I’ll use up what’s left, but the longevity is so poor I don’t know if I’d buy it again. I agree with Mika’s review. Rochas could make an Intense version that lasts longer, as I know people who love it but suffer the same longevity issue. A pity because it smells good. The Eau de Toilette version must be a joke.
I love it; it smells very nice and youthful, a pleasant fruity-chouli. What shocks me is that note of caramelised red apple that appears as it dries; that’s what I like most. The problem is the longevity: it lasts exactly one hour on me, even if I over-apply, the result is the same. I’ll use up what’s left in the bottle, but I’m not sure if I’d buy it again. I agree with Mika: Rochas should make an Intense version that lasts longer, as many people love it but suffer the same issue. What a pity, because it smells good. The eau de toilette is laughable.
I received it as a gift and I like it a lot. I’m not a fan of overly sweet fruity scents, but this has just the right floral touch to make it very pleasant to me. Although it’s designed for warm days, I’ve worn it on very cold days and it projects wonderfully without being overwhelming like in the heat. Women of all ages will enjoy it, but I see it as very appropriate for young girls or teenagers.
I received a sample and it reminds me of a Lancôme Miracle, but less fruity and more powdery. Egyptian jasmine and rose dominate from the first spray, followed by a sweet vanilla touch. It’s not long-lasting (I get about 5-6 hours), but it’s clean, neat and perfect for any day. It puts me in a good mood and makes me feel seen in a favourable light. It’s a buy if I can find it on offer.
I just received a sample with an order. I would describe it as a Miracle by Lancôme, less fruity and more powdery. The heart is Egyptian jasmine (the same as in Narciso Rodríguez’s For Her and my beloved Essencial by Natura) and rose, present only briefly upon application. It’s a soft talc of jasmines and roses that over time gains a moderate sweet vanilla tone. As others say, it doesn’t stand out for longevity… but it stays on the skin for 5-6 hours. A clean, simple but very polished aroma, for every day and all year round. It’s what I enjoy when I don’t know what to wear, easy to wear, energising, and makes you feel like people will look at you favourably. Just like one I had in 2005 by Lucy Anderson, surely an imitation of something more expensive but I never knew which. Safe buy if you find it on promo!
It’s a sweet floral but very potent; once you put it on, it’s impossible to go unnoticed, it smells like a princess. It’s super long-lasting; I’ve felt it for more than 24 hours on the skin. I recommend it. Edit 11.10.2024: After years of wearing it and refining my sense of smell, I say that throughout the performance (quite linear) it smells of caramelised apple with vanilla and musk. The scent is lovely and refined, but nothing innovative. I do still highlight the beast-mode longevity: 24 hours on skin and weeks on clothes. I would buy it again and again.
I bought it blindly to replace my finished Hilfiger Candied Charms which I couldn’t find. The opening of Mademoiselle Rochas is very strong and artificial, but after a short while it smells better. I’m still not sure if I’ll continue using it.
It is sweet, fruity, and floral. The opening is a bit generic, but in the heart notes, you can detect watery, sweet apple alongside jasmine, similar to the talc-jasmine in Lanvin’s Mary Me or Donna Trussardi. The blackcurrants and especially the rose are very pretty and natural. It’s a feminine, romantic, pink, and discreet perfume, ideal for everyday wear, although I didn’t find it memorable. Correct: it lasted over 20 hours on my skin.
I had samples of the EDT and when I went to buy, I mistakenly took the EDP. It smells fruity and sweet without being heavy. The dry-down of the EDP and EDT is similar, but I don’t like the blackcurrant opening (it happens with Si Fiori too), so in the end, I kept the EDT. If anyone wants to swap or sell the EDP, please send me a private message.
I feel cheated. I bought this perfume because I liked the notes and many reviews spoke of its longevity. False, it lasts nothing, not even a hint. It’s a very soft scent that stays right up against the skin. At the price it has, it seems like a bad joke. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
I felt cheated. I bought this because the notes appealed to me and everyone said it lasted long, but that’s a lie. It projects nothing; it just clings to the skin. For the price, it’s a joke. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
After a year of searching, I used it on a very hot day and it had a wonderful performance. I love how most of Rochas perfumes are: sweet with woody accords, but it retains a fresh part. It’s a balance for those who don’t want cloying aromas: delicate yet deep. Modern, it works very well with me, lasts about six hours with several sprays, and I will buy it again.
After trying it for longer, I confirm I like it more than expected. I find it very fruity, a juicy combo of red apple and blackcurrants followed by a base rose. I don’t find it powdery; at the end, I notice a very subtle touch of vanilla and amber. It’s youthful, ideal for spring-summer, for work and study. It lasts all day with a moderate, friendly sillage for those around you.
After wearing it for longer, I’m coming to say that I like it more than expected. I perceive it as very fruity, a combo of red apple and juicy blackcurrants followed by a rose base. It doesn’t feel cloying, although in the end I notice a bit of vanilla with a very slight amber touch. It’s youthful, ideal for spring-summer, work and study. The longevity lasts the whole day and the trail is moderate; it’s noticeable but in a friendly way.
My latest perfume love affair. Delicious aroma, a perfect blend of candied apple and fresh, youthful roses. The only downside is the longevity: it doesn’t last more than six hours on skin.
Love at first sniff: sweet and fruity. You can detect apple with caramel and sour rose, what a delight! I haven’t tested the longevity yet, but the scent is very wearable.
I’ve been in love with this perfume for years and finally decided to buy it. It seems delicious, sweet, sensual, and with that ‘Paris chic’ touch. It’s ideal, flattering, perfect for any age and occasion.
Yesterday I found it very nice, fresh and citrusy with fruity touches, ideal for spring-summer. What a surprise: I liked a discontinued Cyzone fragrance (Paradisse) and they smell very similar.
In the perfumery, it reminded me a lot of Givenchy Irresistible. It’s a lovely floral/fruity scent, but ultimately it becomes overwhelming, too sweet for everyday wear unless you absolutely adore it.
It’s a fruity perfume with roses. The fruity notes are very prominent. It reminds me of the discontinued YSL Babydoll, although the YSL is more complex. It also has the style of the new Chanel Chance Splendide, but this isn’t as subtle. It smells like fruity shower gel, typical and ‘feminine’. If you want to smell freshly showered with fruit gels, this is for you.
I’ve given it several tries, but it’s definitely not for me. It smells old-fashioned and cheap; even the people around me noticed. I’m sorry I can’t provide more details.
Smells exactly like Versace Red Jeans.
