  I still haven’t seen it on sale in my country. Personally, I love the vinyl note; I liked it a lot in YSL Parissienne, so I’m dying to try this fragrance.

  Finally, I could try it, on paper and on my wrist. The opening is fresh and slightly sweet due to the cherry, a bit acidic, and then the vinyl is perceptible and very pleasant before the honey takes the lead, a very natural honey. I liked it a lot; it’s very different from Modern Muse, but I love this one more. On my skin, that natural edible honey really stands out. I’m not a fan of sweet perfumes and I know they’re trending now, although my rule is to use what I like, whether it’s fashion or not. But this one, I do like it. Perhaps I’ll be gifted it soon.

  I was passing through Buenos Aires for a week. This afternoon, walking down Florida pedestrian street, someone gave me a card with this fragrance. Distracted by the thousand shop windows and the bustle, I took the sample, said thank you, and put it in my bag. A few blocks away, I sat down for coffee in a cute confitería. When I paid, I opened my bag and a delicious, particular aroma invaded me. What a wonder! I went back instantly to the perfumery to try it on my skin. I love it: it’s refined, elegant, sweet but not overpowering. I don’t notice the fruity notes much… well, if I think hard, perhaps the cherries; but I do notice the florals, especially the red roses. It’s very original because you can really smell the leather and vinyl (interesting), which gives it a special, dry and slightly talc-like touch. Without a doubt and to my surprise (I’m a classic type), it’s already one of my favourites.

  If I have to say something, this perfume is SWEET, gourmand, powerful, and intense. If you want to be kissed and hugged, use it. It tells people you are a ‘young’, cheerful person, but with CHARACTER. Personally, I love it; I’ve smelled it on other women and adore it. Others find it smells great and it lingers on skin and clothes for several hours. This Modern Muse line has class; nothing smells so informal or random. They keep their style but show what they want, and they achieve it well. This one in particular is elegant, although perhaps not for a super-formal occasion; it feels a bit more playful. For summer, watch out with the applications or sprays near the person next to you.

  I love that bitter cherry touch. On my skin, the leather and vinyl really stand out; it’s the first fragrance with a vinyl note I’ve tried, and I enjoy it a treat. It’s a very sophisticated scent.

  I’ve been fighting with this perfume for three years. At first, what a horror! It smelled like burnt plastic to me. But I took it as a challenge and didn’t let go. Then the day came: today I smell it like something new. It’s a smoked cherry bathed in honey, dark and sexy, with that leather and the metallic touch of saffron that I finally understand. Arabic perfumery has educated my nose a lot, as before I only tolerated sweet and generic scents… it takes years to train your nose, and I think I’m on the right track.
