  1. I spotted it as I left; the saleswoman was wearing it and it reminded me of Kenzo Amour Florale due to those white floral notes. However, Chic possessed an elegance and complexity that placed it far below Amour, which was one of my all-time favourites and I bought it twice. I didn’t take it because I felt it wasn’t for me at that age and with my budget at the time, hahaha; it had always been expensive in Argentina. I kept telling myself, ‘I’ll buy it soon’, ‘I’ll buy it soon’… Now it’s discontinued and full of nostalgia. Yesterday, the air brought it back to my nose. I would describe it as a woody white floral, rich in subtle notes, with great depth and texture. It bears no resemblance to For Her, perhaps for a few minutes in one phase, but for me, they are distinct. I’ll check if I can grab a mini set next time I’m at the airport; there were still some in the duty-free shop at Ezeiza…

  3. I was gifted a sample and am now testing it on my skin: it’s very pleasant. It’s a clean, fresh, classic scent. Its softness and neatness make it perfect for hot days or for women with a gentle temperament and elegant style; it’s floral, with jasmine and neroli as the stars, but with admirable delicacy. It’s my favourite from the Modern Muse range. This muse seems timeless and understated. Recommended. Longevity: good, but with a moderate sillage.

Its softness and neatness make it ideal for hot days or for women with a gentle temperament and elegant style; it is floral, with jasmine and neroli as the protagonists, but with admirable delicacy. From the Modern Muse range, this is the one I like the most. This muse seems timeless and discreet. Recommended. Longevity: long, but with a moderate sillage.

  5. I define it as powerful yet soft at the same time. It leaves a powdery, soft scent that is simply wonderful.

  7. I tried it at Macy’s: it’s an excellent perfume, full of elegance and class. All in this range are very good, but this is a new Estée Lauder release, not particularly floral or sweet. It’s a divine combination: cashmere wood, suede, and patchouli. It lasts seven hours and you’d want to keep that scent going all day. I absolutely love it, just like Tom Ford Oud Wood; they are perfumes that leave a trail wherever you go!
