About Pacific Chill
Pacific Chill by Louis Vuitton is a fruity aromatic fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2023, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. In its opening, the fragrance unfolds a vibrant combination of apple, orange, lemon, mint, blackcurrant and coriander. The heart of the composition reveals floral and herbaceous elegance thanks to the presence of blackberry, basil, carrot seeds and May rose. Finally, the base settles with an exotic and woody warmth formed by fig, dates and ambrette musk.

Pacific Chill by Louis Vuitton: The scent of a sunset on the beach, with some white clouds and a yellow, orange, shimmering sun on the horizon when the wind moves everything and hits your face with a refreshing splash of mint and salt, like an ecosystem showing its strength and energy with the movement of the waves. Mint is present throughout its composition, with a set of sweet and bitter citrus notes in an effervescent contrast. A fragrance of movement, positive energy, and freshness, which can well represent life in a cheerful, light, and beautiful way. It’s not a complex fragrance; on the contrary, it shows itself as it is, without evolution, like entering a place and automatically observing a beautiful, dazzling, and impactful woman, so ethereal that you only admire her natural beauty and grace that captivates you, enjoying every step you can appreciate. Its use is in warm places, preferably the beach or some sunny, hot environment, a daytime fragrance, of light, positive and cheerful profile, of movement and comfort. Scent: 10. Projection: moderate. Longevity: 6 hours. Due to its high price, it might not be a recommended option, as the cost-benefit ratio isn’t the best and its performance is poor.

I’ll put it in the clan of refreshing citrus scents I love, alongside Light Blue or DKNY Woman. Here it’s citrusy, fruity and aromatic. The fruitiness makes it rich, it stands out in the opening and then moves to a more aromatic profile with a mentholated touch and something I imagine is basil. Perhaps I don’t recognise the carrot seeds, but the dry down remains aromatic, with herbs and a bit of spice. There’s also a sweetness that isn’t the typical fruits (citrus and peach), so I suppose it’s the fig and the date, although I don’t note them as such. It leaves a soft sweetness with something mentholated that gives you oxygen, like a fresh breeze. In short, I’ve liked it a lot and I think it fits its name: Pacific Chill. Especially pleasant for summer, day or night. It’s ideal for a cool beach bar with white clothes, having a few drinks. P.S.: forget the absurd obsession with whether it’s for men or women. If they sell it as unisex, it’s because they know it fits. It might be fruitier at the start than men’s perfumes, but that’s it. Also, it doesn’t have a single flower. I find this creates a marked contrast between notes, a typical scheme of men’s perfumes. If you like it, use it and forget the rest.

I tested it several times in-store. The opening is my favourite part: citrusy, juicy, slightly sweet, and a bit mentholated. Combined with the cranberries, it gives a fairly effervescent sensation; perhaps there’s also a cucumber water vibe. On blotting paper, it lasts over 2 hours, but on dry skin, it fades very quickly and transforms into an overly realistic peach, reminding me of peaches in syrup. Combined with other notes like basil and ambrette musk (which is perceptible from the opening), it adds a fresh sensation, as if it were refrigerated. The other notes contribute nuances to make it more rounded and avoid being cloying, ideal for humid summer, although that’s relative. In the deep dry-down, approx. at the 5th hour and practically non-existent or skin-scent only, it reminds me quite a bit of Ariana Grande’s TYN1.0, a perfume I know well. Also, there’s a certain feeling of the bases common to all AGs in general, a tiny molecule present but clearly felt, like a small pebble in a shoe. Having mentioned the longevity, it’s clear when to reapply, as during that time it projects quite strongly and may cause olfactory fatigue.

I’ll be brief; it’s the fragrance I like most from Louis Vuitton in terms of scent. Perhaps it doesn’t last as long as a Meteore, an Imagination or an L’Immensité, and certainly not a Symphony, but it’s not nothing either. It gives me about six hours on the skin and more on clothes, with good projection. Very fruity, aquatic and fresh notes, somewhat citrusy. Unusual fruits like apricot (a meatier peach, less juicy), and I think there’s a hint of mango even though it’s not listed. Carrot seeds give an impression similar to pumpkin soap lather (it doesn’t smell dirty). Rich dates, some orange, sweet blackcurrants and citrus. It can resemble the apricot jam you used to put on your bread when you were a child. There are also green notes of basil and another thing, all wrapped in a very noticeable mint trail, not spicy like toothpaste, but natural and organic, like peppermint. It’s a fruity fragrance, of meaty and juicy fruit, aquatic (reminds of cucumber) and soft, very fresh and ideal for going to the beach, summer holidays or tropical climates.

An excellent option for summer and spring, giving vibes of sun, beach, and sand. It’s a special perfume: the opening is citrusy, becoming increasingly fruity until the dry-down features a peach/nectarine note that, combined with others, creates that special scent. Regarding price, I think it’s overvalued. Not for the aroma, which is a work of art, but because as an ‘exclusive’ brand, it’s excessively costly. The positive side is that it’s not mass-produced or hyped; it’s worth feeling that pleasant scent, like a tropical breeze or a seaside morning. The trail is moderate; noticeable at first but fades over time. Longevity is standard: being fresh, it lasts 4-6 hours, though on neutral days without wind or excessive heat, it can reach 8. In conclusion, it’s promising. If you can afford that high sum, it’s a good choice; otherwise, look for dupes or alternatives for a similar experience.

Without a doubt, it’s my favourite perfume for a while now. I love that opening of apricot/peach mixed with something herbal and citrusy, and the dry down where you feel the fig a lot without the apricot disappearing completely. It’s fruity and sweet but not cloying, one of the most addictive and delicious things I’ve ever smelled. That said, it’s expensive; I’ve tried various dupes at different prices and they don’t smell bad, but none quite resemble the original. It’s a perfume I’d bathe in if it were possible and I use it regardless of the season or time just to enjoy it.

In my opinion, although I’ve only tested it in LV stores and haven’t tried dupes, I think it hits the nose. Despite seeming like a common scent at first, it’s not; it’s a unique fruity blend that reminds me of a tropical environment with a touch of fresh grass. You’ll surely get compliments and it delivers on its promises, although regarding longevity, it stops projecting after an hour and disappears by 2-3 hours. In its defence, when I used it it was pure summer at 40 degrees, so its short duration is more understandable.

Without a doubt my favourite for some time now. I love that peach/apricot opening with something herbal and citrusy, and the dry down where fig stands out without the peach disappearing. It’s fruity and sweet, but not cloying; it’s one of the most addictive and delicious scents I’ve ever smelled. Yes, it’s expensive; I’ve tried several dupes and they smell good but none match the original. It’s a perfume I’d bathe in if I could and I wear it all year round just to enjoy it.

Good heavens, Louis Vuitton excited me with Ombre Nomade and Immensité, but this is nothing more than a cucumber concentrate that invades everything. You may think I’m being harsh, but this little perfumette reminds me so much of the stench of an Avon product called Latin Attitude. Yes, that horrible pest and you’ll tell me how I dare to compare it. I don’t perceive any other note but that cheap, horrendous quality cucumber. What a fiasco of a perfume.
Gengibrol
So far I haven’t heard it and I don’t think it will, because it doesn’t catch my attention due to how fruity it is. But I can speak about Ocean Breeze by Emper, its inspiration, and it’s not bad: it’s a sweet refreshment, a rare combination. P.S.: The dupe smells like deodorant. If it’s faithful to Pacific Chill, I wouldn’t spend a single euro on such a scam, no matter how original and famous the brand is.
SKENDER
It’s sweet, mentholated, and somewhat cheap, to a point it reminds of yogurt with fruits, nothing more. While it’s fresh and tasty, it ends there. Its longevity isn’t greater than about 40 minutes and its projection is very limited. For sunny and hot climates, it’s easy to wear and tasty, but it leaves much to be desired regarding price and longevity. Quality 8, Projection 5, Scent 7, Longevity 5.

Pity it only lasted three hours: half an hour of projection, two hours where it’s only noticeable where I applied it, and by the third hour, it’s gone. The truth is the opening is spectacular; but when dry it smells like any shampoo. It’s not that it disgusts, but for a fragrance this expensive, it shouldn’t smell like shampoo. A pity; I’ve tried it several times and the result is the same.
meilee2004
I grabbed a 3ml decant because the notes sold me instantly. It’s deliciously summery; I love the opening and that fruity dry-down is spectacular. I ordered it because getting it in my country is a nightmare and, muuuuuy, muuuuuy expensive. Truthfully, it smells different, rich, striking, and enjoyable; amidst everything else, it’s quite original. Still, I maintain it’s pricey.
Si_asi_es_
Well, it didn’t last more than three hours for me: half an hour of projection, two hours clinging to the skin, and then it vanished completely. The initial burst smells spectacular, but once it dries down, it reminds me of any old shampoo. It’s not that it smells bad, but for the price, I wasn’t expecting that. I’ve tried it several times and it always happens the same way.
RoosterMoretti
Exquisite and realistic aroma; I was surprised as I’ve never liked summer or citrus perfumes. I swore it was tangerine, but the blend of bergamot, orange and mint made me feel freshly out of the bath. Unfortunately, the projection is short (just personal bubble) and it loses charm when dry; added to the price, it’s a luxury few can afford, but it’s absolutely worth trying.

I bought a 3ml decant for the notes. It’s deliciously summery; I love the opening and the fruity dry down is spectacular. I ordered it because it’s very hard to get in my country and muuuuy expensive, muuuuy… but it smells different, rich, striking, enjoyable and unusual. All in all, it’s quite original. Still, I find it expensive.
RoosterMoretti
Incredible and realistic aroma. Although I’ve never liked citrus, this surprised me: a blend of mandarin, bergamot and mint that smells like straight out of the shower. The projection is short and it loses some strength as it dries, and with the brand’s price few can afford it, but it’s worth trying.

I love it, it puts me at ease. At the start there are fruits, and after ten minutes a menthol enters that clashes with them, over a green and musky base. It’s perfect for hot days, like a spring or summer Sunday at midday. Fresh, sweet but not cloying, a modern green fragrance.
Alfredo Guerra Medina
It’s citrusy and fruity, perceptible as if it were green juice, a mango, or a peach, but despite how fruity it is, it’s 100% citrusy and not perceived as dense at all due to sweetness. If you like fruity fragrances for the heat, it’s a very good option, completely unisex.
Agarza
Just today I finished the last decant I had of this perfume and I can say that, after using it in the hot city climates, it does surprise for the better as many colleagues here mention. It doesn’t have the best longevity, but with adequate sprays, you will enjoy it. 8/10.
vitodito
Summer happiness in a bottle, the king of beach bars. Smells rich, cheerful and juicy, even making you want to drink it. The only thing is it sounds a bit feminine and reminds me of fruity shampoo, but it smells wonderful, ideal for summer.
xavi40rios
To be honest, it smells of apricot and tangerine, it’s very fruity for my taste. It’s fruitier than fresh, but at the level of cloying the nose. I give it an 8/10. I’d go for this summer better for an afternoon swim.
Paulzh96
No one talks about it smelling like cucumber and no one mentions it. Everyone discusses citrus, mint, lemon, and so on, but nobody says cucumber. It literally smells like freshly cut cucumber, delicious, very fresh.
teteboeta
At first it smells of lemon, mint and bergamot, but that synthetic, sharp bergamot lasts forever and drowns out everything else, leaving a shocking scent. For the price, try before you buy; I only have a decant.
Darternaxxx
Smells like supermarket perfume; nothing fresh or original. At this price, I expected something more potent; the longevity and projection are average, and it suits women better than anyone else. 5/10
MONSERRAT MX
Super rich and perfect for heat. Bergamot and mint stand out in a fruity blend that puts you in a good mood. Like all LV scents, it has an elegant touch that makes you stand out.
Demigoriath
Smells like VS Aqua Kiss. It’s exquisite but reminds me of women’s or children’s shower gel; however, for the quality it’s charming, perfect for the beach and heat.
Bossman
So delicious yet so ephemeral. Barely any projection, zero sillage, and very poor longevity. Still, its short life makes it very, very pleasant.
Ever30
Suitable for heat, it reminds me of some shampoo but that doesn’t take away from it. It’s addictive, not annoying, and I recommend it 100%.
Ever30
Perfect for hot weather; it smells like shampoo but that doesn’t ruin it. It’s an addictive, non-intrusive scent. 100% recommended.
