Descripción
Passion Man by Franck Olivier is a spicy oriental fragrance for men. Launched in 2009, this composition features an olfactive pyramid that begins with top notes of bergamot, green apple, mandarin, and pink pepper; the heart reveals cinnamon, nutmeg, mint, cardamom, and cypress; and the base settles on vanilla, amber, balsam of Peru, musk, and sandalwood.

Absolutely stunning Franck Olivier perfume; the longevity and sillage are worthy of a far more expensive fragrance. The scent is a blend of wood and blackberries, perhaps the pink pepper that gives it that sweet twist. One of the best purchases I’ve made. Highly recommended for evening wear, but it’s a pity it’s not available in 100ml, only 75ml. Well, nothing can be perfect.
If you mix 212 VIP Men, One Million, and Versace Eros in a cocktail shaker and multiply it by five, you get this beast of a perfume. Sweet and very current. The price: like a caipirinha on a terrace.

A first-class spiced oriental. In its opening, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg are felt immediately. With a touch of fruity apple (quite subtle) and background citrus. If you don’t like cinnamon, don’t even look at this fragrance; it is a cinnamon bomb, a very natural sweet cinnamon aroma. For Chileans, this smells like mote con huesillo. I will soon bring the full review when I find the right situation and climate to use it. On first sniff, it has medium projection, perhaps slightly high for at least two hours; it is certainly not a beast mode.
An oriental fragrance; my nose isn’t yet accustomed to this type of scent, as I’m used to green and citrus notes. It’s a sweet and earthy smell where I sense vanilla predominance. At first glance, it’s a bomb of scents, but as time passes, it calms down. It’s a matter of adapting and getting to know this type of fragrance.

Franck Olivier is a house worth discovering; once you’ve made the discovery, they only bring smiles. They are not expensive, exclusive, or prohibitive perfumes, nor do they aim to be. These are fragrances that are at least worth their price, and that honesty deserves recognition. This composition is very good, but one must understand who it is aimed at. It starts quite alcoholic, reminding me of gin. Once that note fades, the path reveals itself: spices, dominated by cinnamon, mandarin, and sweet notes that quickly associate it with One Million. Don’t worry, it’s not the same; they only share that candy-like mandarin sensation. On the other hand, the mentholated and slightly green sensation emerges as it dries. As a Fragrantica colleague said, it’s like mixing One Million with CH 212 VIP. I haven’t tried a Franck Olivier perfume yet that doesn’t perform well, and this is no exception. Longevity is over 10 hours with a normal-to-strong sillage for 3-4 hours. I find it impressive for autumn nights, cold weather, but the aura it projects makes it special during that season. It doesn’t seem very unisex, especially considering the similarities, but as always, let everyone try and discover for themselves. The opening is wow, very rich and sharp. Although I won’t say it outright, it smells of wild berries, perhaps blackberry. But after a while it turns into something I find repulsive, like sewage water. Sorry, I had high expectations. For the price, there are many fragrances in the Jaguar line that far surpass it.
The opening is brutal, ufff, very rich and sharp. Although not declared, I detect a touch of wild berries, perhaps blackberry. However, after a few minutes, it shifts into something I absolutely dislike; it smells of a sewer. Sorry, but at this price point, there are many fragrances in the Jaguar line that far surpass it.
