Where’s the honey?? 🤷🤷😮💨😮💨😮💨 This line, which was once wonderful, has been completely let down…
There’s not much to say. Does it smell good? Yes. Is it intense? No. Does it smell of ylang and cardamom? Not in the slightest. It’s just a creamy vanilla. I wouldn’t recommend it.
The simplest thing I’ve seen in perfumery. Creamy flowers with vanilla, and that’s all there is. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s not special either. Very generic. Incredible that they dared to launch an aroma like this. Only suitable for gifting to someone who knows nothing about perfumes.
I absolutely love vanillas and this is a gem: indulgent, deep, and utterly special. It felt fantastic, creamy, and incredibly enveloping. It’s already made it into my top five. 🫶🏻😊 If someone gifted it to me, I wouldn’t mind them thinking I know nothing about perfumes. 😘
The opening smells of vanilla almonds, presumably due to the yellow floral and vanilla blend (hence the similarity to GG Blush). It’s creamy, but the vanilla is like an ambient air freshener, very sweet and cloying. I don’t perceive any spiced nuance. Nothing to do with the Scandal line, nothing new. It seems expensive for such a basic and linear scent, which even reminds me of Maison Alhambra’s Montaigne Coco.
It didn’t smell bad; it’s totally different from the original, but it didn’t stand out for me. It wasn’t as seductive as Le Parfum, which I loved at first sniff. Despite smelling good, it doesn’t stand out.
It lacks the Scandal DNA (where’s the honey?), and nothing of Intense. The opening is good but nothing spectacular, with barely any trail, and after two hours, it’s hardly noticeable even close to the skin. The quality-price ratio is very expensive; there are Zara perfumes that last longer.
The opening takes me to vanillaised almonds, I suppose it’s the mix of the yellow floral with the vanilla (hence why they resemble the GG Blush). It’s creamy, but the vanilla is of that kind of ambient air freshener, very sweet and yes, it’s cloying. I detect no spicy nuance. Nothing like the Scandal line, nothing new. It seems like an expensive perfume for such a basic and linear scent, which even reminds me a lot of the Arabic Montaigne Coco by Maison Alhambra.
The three described notes are the only ones I detect. It captivated me in minutes: a vanilla-scented aroma with semi-summer touches thanks to the ylang-ylang and a hint of civet (almost imperceptible), plus the cardamom. I recommend it to those who hated the honey in the original Scandal or its other flankers, which reminded me of pharmacy propolis. That’s why today I only keep So Scandal and this wonder, Intense.
This new flanker is very different from the original. It’s fairly linear, just like the listed notes, with little evolution. The Ylang Ylang takes charge, wrapped in sweet vanilla, but not gourmand in my opinion. The trail and longevity are not bad.
All three described notes are what I smell, no more, no less. It captivated me quickly: vanilla with semi-summer touches from the Ylang Ylang and skin, with a spiced cardamomo hint. I recommend it to those who hated the honey in the original or its other flankers, which reminded me of pharmacy propolis. Today, I only keep So Scandal and this wonder, Intense.
It opens minty, like toothpaste on paper, but after five minutes, it smells sweet, like thick golden honey. Super addictive and sexy, ideal for cool nights and catching attention. I like it more than Absolu and Le Parfum (except for that strange opening). Skin edition: it has four stages. 1) Strong, minty opening. 2) Stays strong and adds that raw egg note from Divine Gaultier plus juicy coconut. 3) It becomes delicious, sweet and creamy. 4) Conclusion: I won’t buy it, but the quality is good; if you tolerate the opening, you’ll surely like it if you enjoy intense sweetness.
The truth is, this new flanker is very different from the original Scandal. It’s a fairly linear fragrance, exactly as the stated notes, with no great evolution. The ylang-ylang takes all the protagonism, wrapped in a vanilla that gives it sweetness, but not as gourmand as I perceive. I don’t think it has bad performance in trail and longevity.
It comes out smelling mentholated, similar to toothpaste, at least on the paper 🤷🏻♀️. After five minutes, the sweetness becomes noticeable (for me, a thick, golden honey). Super addictive and sexy. Ideal for cool nights and to get people looking at you. I think I like it more than the Absolu and the Le Parfum (except for that strange opening). I should test it on skin. Edit after testing: I detect three stages: 1) a strong, mentholated opening, similar to the Absolu. 2) it stays strong and adds that raw egg note from Gaultier’s Divine 🙁 plus juicy tropical coconut. 3) it settles into something delicious, sweet, creamy, and interesting, with no repetition. 4) Conclusion: I won’t buy it, but the quality is good; if you can tolerate the opening, you’ll surely like it if you enjoy intense sweetness.
It smells like honey and milk bath gel, and chamomile shampoo for blonde hair. It’s rich, slightly generic, and very relaxing, like straight out of the shower. Simple and linear. Although it’s not my favourite, one has to admit that perfumes like this exist.
To me, it sounds unisex, but I don’t like the cardamomo. I prefer the classic or Le Parfum. Also, the box should be the same colour as the bottle, which is gorgeous.
On my skin, it’s sweet and warm, fresher than the Absolu version thanks to the Ylang Ylang, which even smells like mint at first. It appears luminous and tropical, but eventually, it becomes overwhelming. It has that Scandal line sweetness, but lacks the contrast I need to enjoy it for hours. It’s not bad, but on my skin, it becomes persistent and doesn’t quite fit.
I tried it in-store and fell in love; it’s worth it. I’m just waiting to see how long it lasts on the skin and its projection, but ultimately, I adore it.
