I bought this remembering having tested several Memos in-store and that Siwa had stolen my heart. The mistake was relying solely on that memory without testing how long it lasts on my skin. It is a delicious skin scent that lasts about an hour; afterwards, you have to put your nose against your skin to smell it. What an unfortunate purchase. I have tried this to make it last longer: body cream + oil (failed), Xponential base (failed), Vanilla 28 base from Kayali (extended it by two hours, recommended). Recommendations welcome.

I was gifted a sample and, although I usually don’t spend too much, this is worth it. It is a delicious, soft, and sober aroma. It begins with an alcoholic opening where the whisky stands out, followed by fresh aldehydes (not intoxicating like Chanel’s), soft violet, and a monarch narcissus in the heart. It lasts about six hours on the skin, with a clean musk that blends popcorn sweetness and quality vanilla, without being gourmand, and I love that.

I bought it because I love the Memo line and Siwa is my favourite, but I made a mistake by not testing it first. It smells delicious close to the skin but only lasts an hour; afterwards, you have to press your nose against your skin to detect it. What a poor purchase. I tried it with body cream, oil, and Xponential base: nothing worked. Only the Vanilla 28 base from Kayali extended it by two hours; highly recommended. Any other ideas?

I am fascinated by it. A vanilla for all seasons, perhaps except for very formal or evening occasions, or yes, do what you like, hahaha. Perfect as a signature fragrance. I do not detect any whisky at all; it smells of vanilla and narcissus, giving a creamy sensation like ylang-ylang. It creates an impression of clean, moisturised skin that has been sun-kissed. Sexy up close. Good longevity, though the sillage is not brutal.

Good longevity, although the sillage is not brutal.

A lovely floral vanilla. To me, it smells like a multitude of white and yellow flowers, very mimosa-like. Everything is sweetened by an exquisite vanilla, but always letting the floral take the lead. It is light, almost ethereal, feminine, fresh, spring-like… delicious. Scent: 8, Longevity: 7.5, Sillage: 7, Price: 255€ for 75ml.

I bought it blind and it has been one of my best choices. If the sky and plump cotton clouds had a scent, this would be it. Something soft that fills you with affection or gives a cuddle to the soul. Subtle, sweet white flowers, without being cloying, in a beautiful bottle.
