  Just arrived and it’s pure olfactory delight that makes me happy from the first minute. It’s one of those perfumes that make you want to do things and get lost in. Another total triumph from Darkbeat.

  With Susurro, Darkbeat surprises again with top-notch work. It’s floral, centred on neroli and jasmine, with a sweet touch of ylang-ylang and an aquatic fruity opening of pear and melon. As it dries down, it becomes green and woody with a hint of animalic. The moss gives it elegance, almost like the legendary Eau du Soir, and the musk with castoreum adds a sexy edge. For those who, like me, love neroli, it’s a 10. Beastly performance and unbeatable price.

  Another gem from Darkbeat, though I fear I can’t see myself wearing it as it smells very feminine. What is a triumph for my nose, which usually hates neroli, is that here they handle it perfectly. It sounds floral, very present but not overwhelming, with a sweet and fresh touch of melon. As it dries down, more white florals emerge and it smells like high-quality detergent, like freshly washed clothes, nothing negative. The dry down is musky and mossy, making it super versatile and useful all year round, not just in the cold. Incredible performance, lasts for hours and projects well. Very good fragrance, but due to the neroli, I wouldn’t buy it.
