On this cloudy, fresh March day, I tried the latest creation from the magical Darkbeat. I admire Jose’ M. as an artist; his fragrances are original handmade works that ignite fire on the skin. This ‘Spices’ didn’t surprise me with intensity, but with delicacy: a soft bergamot, spices and a ripe apple reminiscent of a pout pourri with a touch of rosemary. Then come the cloves and cinnamon, creating a spicy-sweet-floral blend that brings warmth and protection. Finally, the patchouli and creamy vanilla make it more languid. It’s unique, modern and has completely bewitched me. Thank you, Maestro.
Darkbeat pulls a real gem from the hat: a super-versatile fougère that I was delighted to try. At first, there’s a sharp note, perhaps from the jasmine or cloves, but it smells like a rich, spiced soap. It evolves into a creamy bar soap, and once I went outside, a friend told me it smells clean. I loved it; it’s 100% unisex. Thanks for this marvel.
