This Love Potion No. 9 is essentially a modern take on Opium pour Homme, though with its own distinct nuances. Just two sprays and within seconds, it smells like that classic from years gone by. The blend has its twists: sometimes herbal, other times smoky or balsamic, all soft and suggestive, yet always serving the characteristic Opium scent which gains strength over time. It’s not merely a clone, but a complex, evolving fragrance where the notes emerge harmoniously. It has body and density, yet remains versatile enough for everyday wear. It exudes plenty of personality and elegance, with excellent performance: two drops on the wrist overwhelmed what I was wearing, leaving only LP9 detectable. If you enjoy Opium or oriental fragrances, this is an absolute must-try. Au revoir! PS: The house confirmed via email that it has been discontinued, but you can still find it in online channels, so don’t miss out.
