The top notes reveal a vibrant accord of rhubarb, violet leaves, blackcurrant and ambrette musk. The heart of the fragrance unfolds the delicacy of Bulgarian rose, sambac jasmine, gardenia and orange blossom. To finish, the base notes offer a warm and persistent foundation of ambergris, cedar, sandalwood and patchouli.

Truth be told, I haven’t tried any of the three Christian Louboutin perfumes that have just launched into the fragrance world, but I’m going straight to the bottle: I don’t know if it’s my ignorance or something else, but their glassware designs mean nothing to me; if anyone sees something I’m missing, I beg you to tell me, hehe. However, this house makes shoes like Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Sergio Rossi and Salvatore Ferragamo, so I expected them to beat Carolina Herrera to the punch with a Stiletto-style Good Girl bottle, featuring a black heel and red sole, which would have been spectacular; being part of the Puig group, I’m sure the light of originality didn’t shine on them sooner. I’m certain it would have been a commercial hit and a money-spinner, but as the saying goes, there was already a heel-shaped bottle by Anna Dello Russo, though not as well executed as Good Girl.
