One of my favourites: smells masculine and traditional without being old-fashioned. That salty, bitter note, probably from ambergris, gives it a unique character that sets it apart from the rest. The ingredients smell premium and it lasts quite a while. It’s the kind of ‘signature’ or Swiss Army knife fragrance that always accompanies you. It has personality thanks to that salty base; it draws attention but isn’t annoying. Bonze.

I’ve tried it three times and I love it. It’s a very distinct scent, well-woody and delicious. It’s definitely going into my collection.

A fresh fragrance in the style of Banana Republic Wild Blue Noir, no pretensions. It doesn’t convince me: the blend of amber, blackcurrants, pepper and cedar lacks definition; nothing stands out or enhances the other. Try Piccadilly Circus instead; they are more interesting and worth a sniff.
