What joy to be the first to share my thoughts on this gem by Yann Vasnier. They might sound exaggerated, but smelling it and experiencing it is something else entirely: a perfume with 86% natural ingredients, sensual, intoxicating, hypnotic, and supremely elegant. It’s true that women will likely buy it more (due to the tuberose), but I’ve been searching for a fragrance where tuberose is the star without breaking the bank, and I absolutely love its scent, both in perfumery and in the real flower, something very little known here on Fragrantica. Tuberose Ylang of Pashmina is a pure floral explosion, almost in ‘beast mode’. It’s exceptional, natural, and lasts 7 to 8 hours with a trail and projection of 2 metres for over an hour and a half. Edit: the tuberose and ylang-ylang are masterfully crafted. If I close my eyes and make you smell a bunch of freshly cut tuberose in one hand and the bottle cap in the other, I’m sure you won’t be able to tell the difference.
