It lists plenty of floral notes, but wow… this is a violet bomb straight up. Violet from start to finish. There’s nothing else to it.
It has many floral notes listed, but beware: this is a full-on violet bomb. Violet from the very first second right through to the end. Period.
What a beautiful fragrance I’ve just discovered. It’s an intense violet scent, sometimes reminiscent of violet candies, accompanied by an exquisite floral blend and a vanilla sweetness at the base. Perhaps it leans slightly towards the feminine side, though I find it unisex and would wear it without hesitation. Furthermore, it’s one of the few perfumes that has truly surprised me with its longevity. I applied a sample at 6 am to go to work, and even now, at 5 pm, I can still smell it on my wrists. It’s true that the jasmine and neroli are now more prominent than the violets themselves, but for nearly four hours, I could detect the violets projecting without issue. Additionally, I consider it a totally versatile perfume. It’s intense, making it suitable for going out, yet elegant enough to complement a more carefully chosen outfit, and discreet enough not to be intrusive, so it could even be a perfect signature scent for everyday wear. The only drawback is the price. While it’s not as expensive as other niche perfumes, it’s certainly not cheap. It is also true that it’s an extrait de parfum, so over-application isn’t necessary for good performance, and the quality is very high. It’s one of the few times I’ve truly felt it’s worth the cost and that I really want to buy a bottle.
