I bought this perfume out of pure nostalgia, it reminded me of my father who used it in the bull-head bottle from the 80s which, once empty, I used as a play piece to climb my Famobil and Madelman figures. I remember taking off the cap and inhaling the traces of scent left in the empty bottle. I don’t know what it smelt like as my olfactory memory doesn’t stretch that far, but I do remember it was strong and penetrating, with a lot of projection, as my father put it on when he got up and left the bathroom smelling of it for some time. With all these memories I ordered it from Avon, it being the only product I have from the house. What they sent me is nothing like it. A classic bottle filled with alcohol, which smells of alcohol and tastes of alcohol, in fact, I use it as alcohol. My hopes dashed, and my memory with them. I don’t know what it smelt like before, but now it smells of nothing.
I bought it out of nostalgia, remembering my father’s 80s Toro Head bottle he used to play with the children. I recall taking off the cap and inhaling the lingering scent; I don’t know exactly what it smelled like, but it was strong, penetrating and lasted a long time in the bathroom. That’s why I ordered it from Avon, as my only product from the brand. What arrived has nothing to do with it: it’s a classic bottle full of alcohol that smells and tastes of alcohol, until I use it as a disinfectant. My joy turned to a pit; my memory with it is ruined. I don’t know what it smelled like before, but now it smells like nothing.
