Suzy Le Helley

By nature, Suzy Le Helley is passionate and curious, and draws her inspiration from the diversity of natural scents and plants she discovers through her travels. Canada, Sri Lanka, Guatemala, El Salvador, Brazil and even Lebanon—each of these destinations fuels her creativity. However, Madagascar remains special to her: a country where she spent time understanding the work of local communities, whom she likes to pay tribute to in her fragrances by using many ingredients from the Red Island. Trained at the Symrise Perfumery School and working alongside the company’s greatest perfumers, she caught the attention of Annick Ménardo and Maurice Roucel—master perfumers who would become her mentors. By working with short formulas, Le Helley’s olfactory style is easy to understand and read.
